This luxurious gite, completely renovated in 2007, is situated on the ground floor of our classic french maison de maitre.Set in a courtyard and large mature garden,safely enclosed by gates,it is perfect for a couple or family.The private entrance opens into a bright and spacious kitchen/ living area which is fully equipped and comfortable.The bedroom is 24m² and has a king size bed.There is a cosy private corner with a sofa bed for children and we can provide a travel cot if needed.The bathroom is spacious and fully fitted with a shower over bath.The gite has a wonderfully calm atmostphere and offers peace and privacy whilst being convieniently situated in the heart of the village,with local facilities within walking distance, bakers/grocery store,post office,bar/restaurant,general store etc
The garden is completely private as is the large,south facing pool.

There is plenty to do in the area either on foot or by car.If you fancy a good walk we are surrounded by pine forests and vineyards The beautiful Lac de Gurson is 3km's away and here you will find several bars,restaurants,picnic areas,a beach and swimming,pedalos and horse riding.By car you can quickly reach many historical towns including Bergerac, St Emilion,Bordeaux,Sarlat and Perigeux,all less than 1hour away.The Atlantic coast with Arcachon and Dune de Pyla is a great day trip at around 1hr30. A paradise for food and wine lovers,there are vineyards and wonderful restaurants in abundance,not to mention day and night markets almost every day in the immediate area and weekly brocantes and vide de grenier throughout the summer.For a quick shopping fix the nearest town of Montpon Menesterol is just 7km's away,here you can find a variety of shops and boutiques, bars and restaurants,hypermarkets and pharmacies.

There are 2 comfortable double sofa beds in the gite.We do provide bed sheets and towels but not swimming pool towels.There is a bbq and plenty of garden furniture,sun loungers and parasol.The pool is secluded and private.We have tennis rackets and balls,a sandpit,swings and childrens games/toys.There is access for wheelchairs although the bedroom doorway may be a bit narrow at 2ft 2in(w).Children and the elderly are very welcome,we are there to help.We can provide an airport pick up/ drop off service.

Gite Rental Rates Low Season Price : £255 High Season Price : £380 per Week

Mid season- 05April-27June 2008 £300per week High season- 28June-12September 2008 £380per week Mid Season- 13September-03October 2008 £300per week Low Season- 04October-03April 2009 £255per week A non refundable deposit of 30% is required on booking with the remainder to be paid 6weeks in advance of stay.A security deposit of £175 is also required and will be returned/withheld after a check of the gite on departure.The gite should be left clean as on arrival,optional cleaning is available for £50.
