Le Pouget a relaxing bungalow for all ages, surrounded by farmland and wildlife. Situated in a large enclosed garden, with stone BBQ, play area, bikes, table tennis, badminton, boules and plenty of outside games. We have a covered terrace and a decking area where you can relax and unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy a meal 'Al Fresco'! or take a dip to cool off in our 4 metre plunge pool, large enough for adults to relax and fun for children to play in. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, we even supply the corkscrew!!!! In our lounge area we have a TV, DVD and CD player and a selection of Cds, DVDs , books, games for adults and children.The lounge opens out through the french doors on to the covered terrace and decking. The bungalow is tiled throughout to keep it cool in the hot summer months (fans are supplied) and has a multi-functional shower to ease away the stress of all that sightseeing. The Bedrooms are light and airy, 1 double bedroom and the other bedroom has 2 single beds, both have wardrobes and drawers, full length mirrors and shutters on the windows. We also have a cool box and picnic blanket along with a backpack and flasks if you fancy a ramble.  
If you like wildlife or birdwatching there is plenty here, with birds of prey, woodpeckers etc, plus little lizards, deer, boar,bats owls and much more.!! 2 mins away is the Indian forest and Squirrel Park,- swing through the trees and then have a snack at the bar, 5 mins away is the river where you can hire a canoe for the day or relax on the banks of the river and watch the world go by. Fancy a day at the beach? Grolejac & Tamines are inland beaches with sand an shallow water great fun for kids , they have changing facilities, toilets, a snack bar, life guard, you can take out a boat or try a little fishing! 
 
Le Pouget is situated only a few minutes from the amazing medieval town of Sarlat and is perfect for relaxing and sightseeing. Wander the Bastide of Domme (where the knights Templar were held) a walled town perched high up above the river, have a drink and marvel at the fantastic views, take a boat or canoe on the Dordogne river and see the sights from the water. Step back in time & visit the medieval villages of Beynac and Roque Gageac, the Chateaux of Castlenaud, Fenelon and many more, even further back to prehistoria of Les Eyzies and the amazing cave dwellings. For the energetic : as well as canoes there is cycling with plenty of cycle paths, horse riding, out door adventure parks,walking, with a walking route right outside our bungalow! if you fancy looking another view Ballooning is a must!! For shopping there is Sarlat with it's cobbled streets and little shops full of knick knacks, wine,cheese, foie gras and walnuts, a fantastic market full of colour, art galeries and street entertainment, a restaurant or cafe on every corner. Take a trip to Rocomadour the trail of the pilgrims, fantastic history, views, underground caves, animal parks a day for all the family. THE DORDOGNE GIVES YOU A CAMERA SHOT AT EVERY TURN.

Our bungalow is modern and tiled throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dish washer, Fridge, oven, 4 ring stove, grill, microwave, freezer, toaster, coffee machine, kettle. There is gas central heating for cooler days and an open fire ( we can supply the logs). We have portable fans for your use in the summer months. All bed linen is provided along with towels, we also supply pool towels. A weekly clean is also provided.An Iron & Ironing board and clothes airer is also supplied. The Pool is an over ground 4 meter timber plunge pool,great for kids to play in and adults to cool off. We also have a cot,baby bath, highchair and potty if required, we also supply cot linen. A hairdryer is kept in the bathroom for your use.

There are plenty more activities especially in the high season with fairs of local produce and exhibitions of artisans showing their skills all worth a visit. On your arrival you will see our visitors book with ideas and brochures for your stay. Our aim is to ensure that you have the holiday of your choice, whether it's family fun, quiet and relaxing or both! we will do our best to help you achieve that. We live only 15 mins away and will be on hand to help you on arrival and answer any questions you may have, we will leave you to enjoy your stay and if you need any help we are only a phone call away!!!

If you decide to book with us we require a 25% deposit to secure your booking on receipt of this we will then send you out a contract with our terms and conditions of rental, the contract states our cancellation policy. We ask guests to take out Travel Insurance for cancellation,accident,health etc. We require a security deposit of 100 euros which we secure from you on day of arrival, this is held for breakages or damage to the property and is returned to you on the day of departure. We accept Cheques in Euros or a Bank transfer of money (IBAN) , we supply our details with the booking form. All linen, towels, pool towels are included. Utilities are also included in the rental.
