Vacation Rental Description
The apartment is in the heart of Sarlat and is part of a period stone built property. It is on the ground floor and the main door opens into the kitchen diner area. The living space has a sofa, table and chairs and a wide screen TV that has French and UK tv channels. The modern kitchen incorporates a gas hob and an electric oven plus a large fridge freezer. The kitchen is equiped with a range of pots and pans, cooking utensils, kettle toaster etc.
The bedroom is accessed from the kitchen and has a double sleigh bed. There is a door from the bedroom onto a terrace which overlooks the garden and enables you to eat outside and barbeque if you wish.
The other door from the bedroom opens into the bathroom which has a high quality shower.
The fact that the apartment is centre ville means that you can use all of the facilities which Sarlat offers without the need to drive. There are shops, bars and restaurants and continuous street entertainment in the evenings of the high season.
Towels and bed linen are provided.
The apartment is centrally heated and is therefore available for letting all year round.

Sarlat is the jewel in the crown that is the Perigord Noir. In its centre there are a large number of 12th century buildings that are often used for making period films. It has open-air markets twice a week, street music, entertainers of every type during the evenings. Its a perfect place for gormets and people watchers.
The beautiful Dordogne flows past Domme,La Roque Gageac and Beynac, other jewels. The Vezere flows through Les Eyzies with its stunning National Museum of Prehistory which is well worth a visit. Literally hundreds of kms of pathways for walkers and cyclists that are never crowded. There are chateaux like Des Millandes, once the home of Josephine Baker; boat trips ,canoeing and swimming in the Dordogne.
