Vacation Rental Description

The Cottage was built in the 17 hundreds before the French revolution using the traditional stone work so typical of this region of France. The wonderful framework inside is the testimony of the beautiful work the carpenter done more than 300 years ago. It sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms of which are en-suite and one bedroom has a separate bathroom and is very spacious with its 200sqm (2150 sq.ft.) surface. The private 4 acre park has mature trees for shade and private drive way for absolute privacy. The living room overlooks the Private Pool that has a 100sqm stepped wooden deck and view on the surrounding nature. As people who enjoy good food and cooking, we have provided everything we would hope to find in a fully equipped kitchen. The bbq is ready for those beautiful summer evenings.

The 17th century property sleeps up to 6 and is composed of the Cottage with Heated Pool 10 x 5 and Jacuzzi, Hot Tub and has en-suite facilities and large living areas. The property can be rented shared or exlusive The park surrounding the property has a wonderful established garden with trees for shade and private drive way for absolute privacy. The pool has a large 100sq.m wooden deck with view over the valley and woodland. Children can enjoy pony rides , on site, in the peaceful countryside that surrounds the property. We are situated to the north of the Perigord Noir, the heart of the Dordogne and Vezere vallies. This is a secluded rural location situated 8 km from Vergt, 15km from Le Bugue with their numerous tourist attractions, weekly markets and selection of supermarkets.

The property is in the center of the Dordogne, near all the main attractions. From the cliffs of "Les Eyzies" to the Castle of "Castelnaud". The night markets are a wonderful and charming experience to try out the local food and see the different villages a bit more closely. If your a Horse person you can go on trail rides in the countryside, maybe one of the best ways to appreciate the luxurious nature here in the Dordogne. Shopping is a few minutes away, as are many good restaurants: we will make sure you know about the good ones.
