Tucked away in the lush hills between the Dordogne and the Vezere river, is a lovely house ideally suited for larger parties, gatherings of family or friends, comfortably accommodating up to 12 people. The 2,5 hectare of well kept lawns and garden suitable for a variety of ball games, are surrounded by mature Leylandi hedges with a stately set of gates at the entrance that secure the privacy of all guests, and a feeling of ease, in particular concerning the safety of younger children.
"Le Tuquet" has comfortably furnished terraces all around, whether to relax in the sun or the shade, enjoy a glass of wine in pleasant company or just having a quiet and peaceful holiday feeling; it's all there.
Situated close to the house is the lovely inviting swimming pool, it's dimensions of 12mx6m making it large enough for everyone to jump in for a refreshing splash about at the same time . The pool is covered by a sliding structure which ensures total safety when closed for the non swimming children, and assuring you a comfortable 28 ° C water temperature or more at the same time .
The grounds of Le Tuquet are situated in a very quiet area, and only 10 min. away from the town ‘ Le Bugue ‘, where you’ll find all sorts off shops , supermarkets , an excellent wine merchant and various restaurants.
The property is fenced off all around and the entrance is set into a huge stone wall.
The large pool ( 6 x 12 meters) is in the sun the whole day around , and parasols and a fixed awning provide shade. There is a large set of teak garden furniture , sunbeds etc. The fields around the house are ideal for playing games , crocket ,hockey, badminton , jeu de boules and so , are available for the guests
The house consist off an old part which is renovated and has the kitchen and diningroom and a bathroom downstairs. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. From the dining room you have direct access to a lovely shaded terrace at the back of the house , with a fixed stone barbecue.
The new part has a large livingroom with fireplace and a separate television room next to it . Upstairs there are three spacious bedrooms and a bathroom.
The whole property is just ideal for family holidays , and very easy to share between two groups of families or friends.
