This property sleeps up to 14 people. There are 2 double bedrooms (one with washbasin), 2 twin bedded rooms, 1 bedroom with 4 single beds (2 bunks) and a study/bedroom with double sofa-bed.

There is one bathroom and two shower rooms. The kitchen/dining-room is fully equipped to cater for 14. There is a separate lounge with hifi, books & games etc. A television and dvd player are available together with a large video library to loan from at no charge. There is a computer games console together with games to loan, again at no charge. Cots and highchairs available. Internet connection available.

Outside the kitchen/dining room is a large terraced area, with a permanent brick built barbecue, with lovely views across the valley. The terrace is partially shaded by a large lime tree, together with an awning.

There is also a very large grass area, with garden furniture, sandpit and swings for the children, with magnificent views. There is a large swimming pool, terrace and further grassed area.

There is also a sport and games area with table tennis, badminton/volleyball, and space for football, cricket etc.

The house has been converted from a number of joined farm buildings. This has resulted in the interior being very interesting with the rooms all having different characters of their own. A delightful, large rambling house completely and tastefully renovated, with modern facilities, but still full of character!

La Petite Renaudie is situated in the North West Dordogne, 5 km from the market town of Riberac, and 2 km from the village of Villetoureix. The nearest large towns are Angouleme and Perigueux. La Petite Renaudie is a hamlet of nine houses spread out along about a half mile of country lane. The single track lane leading to the hamlet is a no-through lane, thus there is almost no passing traffic. The surrounding countryside is generally hilly, with a mix of woodland and pasture, with plenty of superb views over the valley. The nearest village shop is in Villetoureix, and nearest supermarkets are to be found in Riberac, together with banks, shops, cafes and restaurants. In the surrounding area there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The tourist attractions of the Dordogne are within easy reach for days out, such as prehistoric caves, castles, chateaux etc. Also within reach are the vineyards of the Bordeaux area, and the beaches of the west coast. There are plenty of lakes and rivers nearby for swimming, canoeing, watersports, fishing and many opportunities for other sports and activities such as golf, tennis, cycling, walking, picnics etc.

Travel to this part of France can be by car, train or air. The journey from Calais can be done by car in one day. The Eurostar/TGV from Waterloo, Ashford (or other UK departure points) goes to Angouleme, 45 minutes away, where you may hire a car. Bergerac airport is about 45 minutes away. Bordeaux airport is one and a half hours away and Poitiers airport is about two hours away. Full details will be sent with booking confirmation.
