Villa Escoffie is a charming property tastefully restored in the Périgordine style, with limestone walls, oak beams and parquet floors.  
 
The house is set in 14 acres of meadows and woodlands and over looks the valley. The private swimming pool (10m x 4m) with alarm is secluded behind the house, enjoying total privacy and splendid views across the valley. 
 
The terrace is south facing and has a wisteria covered pergola for dining al fresco. It is equipped with garden furniture and BBQ. 
 
Around the house are pretty flower beds with a collection of old fashioned roses and mature trees for shade on hot sunny days.

    • Ground floor:- The country style kitchen/dining room is fully equipped and leads off from the terrace. There is an independant toilet/claokroom and shower room with wash basin. Ther is also a cellar with freezer and second fridge. Fisrt Floor:- Spacious living room with French windows over looking garden. Main bedroom with double bed. Bathroom with bath tub, wash basin and toilet. Second floor:- Bedroom with double bed fitted carpets, view over orchard and pool. Second bedroom, with two single beds. Attic:- Family bedroom with double bed and two single beds.

    • Villa Escoffie has a perfect location in the heart of the Périgord Noir, a region famous for it's history and prehistory. Just 4km away is the medieval village of Plazac, where you can visit the fortified church, presbetry and museum. There is also a lively café and organic grocery shop.  
    Plazac lies in the Vézère valley an exceptional location listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. In just 20 to 30 minutes from the house you can visit the famous cave paintings of Lascaux (Montignac), the National Museum of Prehistory (Les Eyzies), cave dwellings of Le Roque St Christophe and many more. The region is also famous for it's numerous Châteaux, gardens, pretty villages and local markets. 
     
    There are many affordable and excellent restaurants in the vicinity where you can taste foie gras, magret and confit of duck. For wine lovers you have the Château de Monbazillac in the Bergerac region, St Emillion etc.
