Restored townhouse dates back to 1753. All rooms are en suite. This pretty house has a very French feel. Enjoy a delicious continental breakfast or request a full English if you prefer. Park your car (for free) and walk to all the town's many amenities. Enjoy the historic streets and squares. We are ideally suited for a short stay to break your journey or come for a longer visit and explore the area more fully.

Montignac enjoys 2 markets every week Wednesday and Saturday, and several boutiques offer locally made items. Canoe the river or walk and/or cycle the lanes surrounding the town. Tennis, golf, horse riding and swimming are nearby but the area's claim to fame is in its history.

Experience the ancient town of Roc St. Christophe cut into the very face of a limestone and granite cliff which has been inhabited since neolithic times and re-inhabited during the hundred years war.

Rooms are light and airy and we provide tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms, our rooms also have en suite shower, washbasin and toilet.

Strictly no smoking in this historic house. 25% deposit required with your reservation. Longer term lets (if your are house hunting for example) can be arranged out of high season. Our daily rate includes a continental breakfast and we also offer a full English style breakfast at an extra charge of 6.00 euros per day.
There are no other additional costs.
We accept payment by cash or cheque (if you have a French bank account). We will accept your 25% deposit by cheque if your bank is not in France (please ask about the exchange rate at the time of booking).
Please note our reduced rates in January through April and September until Xmas. These lower rates make Chambre d'hote de Montignac ideal if you are travelling during the out-of-season periods.
