A pretty river runs through the 4 acre estate and helps make the extensive grounds and stunning gardens an ideal place for relaxation. The large swimming pool is positioned to gain maximum hours of sunshine with ample shade provided by apple & pear trees.

Children are well catered for with acres of space to play football or rounders and a play area with swings, slide & boules court. The well equipped games & information barn houses table football, table tennis, pool, lots of board games, toddler’s toys & is Wi-Fi enabled.


LE TOURNESOL at Le Banquet sleeps up to 4 people comfortably and has been sympathetically restored by local artisans. This pretty gite sits 'tucked away' just below a courtyard.

Located all on one level there is a well equipped kitchen together with an open plan living and dining room.

The two bedrooms, one double and one twin both have views to the river that runs through the estate.

There is also a fully tiled modern shower room.

Outside is a private walled terrace.

This substantial stone built house has been beautifully restored carefully exposing beams, local stone and woodwork, offering modern convenience together with romantic rusticity.

The sunken French style kitchen opens on to a large living and dining area which has oak floors and exposed stonework.

Upstairs is a modern bathroom with bath & shower plus 2 good sized bedrooms, one double and one twin (which can convert to a triple if required thus sleeping 5 in comfort). Each window opens out to views across the pretty river and hills beyond.

The cottage has a private riverside terrace, perfect for barbecues and outdoor meals.

LA FERMETTE at Le Banquet sleeps 6 in comfort - a pretty Perigordine, riverside cottage.

The accommodation is spacious and comfortable and consists of fully fitted kitchen and dining room, ground floor WC, large sitting room with stone fireplace opening on to a walled riverside terrace with a vine clad loggia.

The magnificent oak-beamed master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom is on the 2nd floor, whilst the 2 pretty twin bedrooms on the first floor, one of which has beautiful views overlooking the river, share a bathroom,

Each home at Le Banquet has spacious, comfortably furnished living areas with UK satellite TV, fully fitted kitchens with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. and each has its own terrace with barbecue and garden furniture.

The large 40ft x 20ft swimming pool is positioned to gain maximum hours of sunshine. All are well catered for with a children's splash pool and play area, fishing on the estate and a games room with table tennis, pool, table football and more.

Le Banquet offers a great opportunity to holiday in one of the most beautiful parts of the Dordogne, an area well known for its numerous caves, castles and Châteaux, its 'plus beau villages de France' indeed the medieval town of Sarlat is just 20 minutes drive away.

Canoes and kayaks are available to hire along the banks of the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. Being wide and mostly shallow, the rivers can be enjoyed if you are a beginner or a skilled amateur. 
 
For golfers there are good courses in the area. The 18 hole course at Le Bugue is just 15 kilometres from Le Banquet. Tennis lovers can use the local courts in Les Eyzies. 
 
If you enjoy hiking or cycling, then the area has some tremendous walks & cycle routes with breathtaking scenery. A local cycle hire company will deliver bikes to your door. 
 
If you are an angler, there are plentiful rivers & lakes in which to fish, including the pretty river which runs through Le Banquet.
