    • 10 minutes stroll from the property there is a leisure lake created by a dam built by monks 1200 years ago but recently renovated/upgraded-it is 63 acres in extent with a beach/volleyball/tennis/many other amenities-there are many nice walks (the area is 65% forested-and many tourist places nearby-there are also many good but inexpensive restaurants in the area-about 15 minutes drive away is a 'grand prix' GoKart track which is large and open air-the garden is about 1/4 acre in extent with open views beyond. Birdwatchers love the area as it has forest/fields/rivers/ponds/old buildings so a very wide variety of birdlife-it is also excellent cycling country being hilly/undulating-strenuous but not overly so-the cottage and the converted 'old bakery' share the garden and can of coursse be rented jointly with the House which once served as a 'relais' for stage coaches.
