Maison Rouge is part of an old farm complex dating from the early 1800's. The cottage is totally self contained and has amazing views over the owners fields and beyond to the tree lined valleys of the Dordogne and Correze. Nearby is the imposing Chateau of Hautefort, the picturesque village of St Robert and the beautiful lake of Lac Du Causse with it's sandy beaches, suitable for swimming, on those long hot summer days. If you are seeking peace and quiet then look no further. There are ample places to walk where you can enjoy the countryside and view the local wildlife. If you are looking for more of an active holiday then the valleys of the Dordogne and Vezere with their many tourist attractions are less than an hour away. Shopping and restaurants are only a short drive away in the beautiful riverside towns of Terrasson and Brive.
