LGM is part of a 17th century farmhouse with 6 bedrooms and 5 bath/shower rooms.
There is a large farmhouse style kitchen with 5 burner range cooker, side-by-side fridge/freezer, microwave, 2nd fridge, double sink, dishwaher and plenty of storage. The kitchen is well equiped to cater for large parties. From the kitchen you can access a private courtyard with BBQ facilities and space for al fresco dinning. This courtyard is also accessed from the garden and the master bedroom.

The dinning room can easily accommodate large parties at 2 tables. Through French doors you come to the 9m by 7m lounge (a converted barn), with 4 sofas and a number of chairs as well as satalite TV. The room is light due to the patio window which has replaced the barn door and a cathedral ceiling. A staircase leads from the lounge to the mezzanine, which has a library of books, a harmonium, dart board, puzzels and board games.

The master bedroom (5m by 5m)is on the ground floor and has plenty of clothes storage. The ensuite bathroom has a bath, separate shower, toilet bidet and 2 wash basins. Also on the ground floor is a laundry room and separate toilet.

There are 5 bedrooms on the first floor. These sleep 4 (kingsize bed and double if needed) with ensuite bathroom, 2 with a double bed and ensuite shower room, 3( double bed and single) with ensuite shower room, 3 (double and single) with wash basin in room and 2 with single beds and wash basin in room. The last two bedrooms share a shower room.

French markets, horse riding, walks, bird watching, wine tasting, swimming, canoeing, river trips, castles, pre historic cave drawings, balloon trips, water parks, quad bikes, cycling and long French lunches are just a few of things you can do in this area. Look out for Fete day meals, village repas, vide greniers, farmers markets, and medieval festivals as good places to eat of pick up a souvenir.

There are 5 acres of gardens and fields including a pond for fishing (basic equipment provided). The gite has its own terrace garden with BBQ facilities.
There is a boules pitch, badminton/volleyball net, giant chess set, and swimming pool (10 by 5). There are sun loungers by the pool plus in the garden for sun worshipers and well as plenty of shade areas to just sit and read.

We require a 25% deposit to secure the booking with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. We take payment mainly by credit card, although we will take a bankers draft or a cheque, if cashable in France.
When the payment has cleared confirmation is sent, usually by email
