Et Lui Femme is one of 2 cottages created from an old 300 year old barn. The living space is open plan on three levels. The main door opens onto the lounge area which is furnished with confortable sofas and arm chairs with a wood burning stove in one corner. There is a telivision which receives free to view English programms plus a DVD and video player.
A step leads to the dining area with a large table and chairs. Another step leads to the fully fitted modern kitchen complete with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric oven and gas hob.
The stairs lead up from the dining area to 1 large bedroom with a double bed and fitted wardrobe, 1 double bedrooom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with bunk beds and a single room (in which bunk beds can be fitted) A cot can be put in either of the double rooms. There are two shower rooms with built in showers, washbasins and w.c.
In the front of the cottage is a large terrace with BBQ, and patio furniture.
The large 12x6 meter heated swimming pool is just across the courtyard from the cottage and is built within the walls of another old barn with a self closing gate which cannot be opened by children under the age of 7 years.
The grounds of the 24 acre private estate are of wood and meadow land on which are a variety of fruit and nut trees the products of which are available when in season.

Wethin easy access of the cottage are facilities for horse riding, walking, and for those who wish to explore the nearby vineyards there is plenty of opportunity to taste the local wines, or for those who do not wish to imbibe there are many interesting chateaux and bastide towns to explore.

There are a variety of activities on site such as table tennis, giant chess set, badminton, and an area for football or cricket. We have also had guests who have flown model aircraft in the fields (there is a thriving model aircraft club nearby). Across the road is the river Dropt where fishing is available, a licence can be bought from the local garage. We also have a number of bicycles for guests to use to explore the surrounding county side.

High Season Price : €990 per Week

View Availability Calendar

A deposit of 25% is required on booking and should be sent by cheque with the booking form. The balance should be paid 8 weeks before the start date of your booking together with a seperate cheque for the security deposit of 15%. This cheque will not be cashed but returned to you on the day of your departure provided that there has not been any breakages or damage.
