    • This 400 year old farmhouse has been lovingly restored retaining all its original features, massive oak beams and an enormous stone firepjlaceat the same time offering all modern comforts. The sitting room is spacious and comfortable. Satelite television offers BBC programes together with DVD player and video casette player. The modern kitchen is fully equiped wih frig/freezer, washing machine, microwave, gas cooker and hob with cooker hood, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine and all necessary kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware, ironing board and iron. The serving hatch allows food to be served direc to the dining area. The shower room with shower, washbasin, toilet leads off from ythe sitting room. Stairs give access to the three bedrooms, one double and two bedrooms each wth two single beds.There is also a toilet and washhand basin. Necessary bedding and towels are also provided but not towels for pool use.

    • Maison Lannet provides peace and tranquility in a rural setting where you can lounge beside the pool with a book and a glass of wine or explore the many wonderful places of the Dordogne.
    At Nontron 12kms distant visit the oldest knife factory in France or the Dolls Museum with its wondewrful exhibition of dolls,games and toys. Visit Brantome and the wonderful remarkable abbey founded by Charemagne in 742-814. Here you can hire a canoe and paddle down the river Dronne to a point of your choosing when you will be brought basck to your start point.
    Just 15 kms from Lannet Visit the Grottes de Villars the largest network of underground caves in Perigord. Discovered in 1953, vast chambers hollowed out by the underground river with impressive stalactites and wall paintings.
    THIS IS A MUST FOR A VISIT €5 with a commentary.

    There are an infinite number of places to visit and things to do and details of these many attractions are available at the house.
