'The house is so comfortable and superbly decorated that you’d think you’re at home” - a wonderful compliment we’ve received from many guests, who have come here to look for peace and tranquility.

Only a few minutes away by car from Brantôme - The Venise of the Perigord - our 18th C self-catering stone country house has undergone an assiduous restoration while retaining its original features and rustic charm: exposed stone walls, beams, traditional tiled floors, a stone fireplace.
Each room has been individually decorated by a Parisian interior designer who has created a warm and harmonious style. With years it has become very cosy and atmospheric.
The property overlooks 1500m2 of private gardens with river frontage on one side and a small secluded field on the other.
It is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in a small rural hamlet, that couldn’t be more genuinely French.

Indoors
Exceptional standard of accommodation & equipment, lots of volume and openings to the gardens, refined decoration and furnishing.
On the ground floor there are:
- an entrance hallway, a guest WC, a utility room, a spacious fully-fitted and well-equipped country kitchen/dining room, a lavish lounge.
On first floor there are 3 suites:
- the Saffron Suite with a double bedroom (with an extra large double bed, an adjacent bedroom with a single bed, a dressing room, a bathroom;
- the Pearl Grey Suite with a double bedroom (with a large double bed)and a bathroom;
- the Lavender Suite with 2 doudle beds, a shower room located on a mezzanine. It is ideal for children and has lots of toys. It is impressively spacious.

In addition to this, there are 2 cots available (without sheets) for children up to two.

Outdoors
You’ll enjoy a romantic riverside setting, a built-in stone BBQ, 2 terraces and the utmost privacy of a courtyard (we call it the 'patio') with a pool set in the style of a Roman bath; when lit at night, it becomes magical!
The pool is fenced-off and can be heated on request. It measures 10m x 6m and is 1,40m deep. It has a 40 cm deep shallow area for children.
A covered terrace is located next to the stone in-built BBQ. It is ideal for outdoor dining with views of the sunset and towards the river.
There is another terrace near the pool, with an awning.
