A simply gorgeous place to stay - recently renovated to a high standard and offering beamed ceilings, superb stone fireplace with Jotul woodburner, ancient feature stone sink, wood floors etc but with modern comforts as far as insulation, heating etc Set in its own plant-packed garden with high quality above-ground woodframed Pool and Terrace (safe for little children as one can take the access steps away) and with space for parking at least 2 cars, this is an idyllic place for a holiday or a short term stay. The area offers superb vineyards, panoramic country vistas, farms where you can taste and buy Foie Gras/duck etc, local restaurants offering relaxed mealtimes savouring local produce, Chateaux and historic domaines to visit, and Perigueux and Bergerac with their rivers (canoeing and fishing) Museums, historic town centres to while away an afternoon, and farmers markets galore

There are superb golf courses in the Dordogne, one can canoe down several rivers in the summer, fish several rivers, and of course there are vineyards everywhere for those who like to sample and buy some of the best wines in France - St Emilion, Pecharmant, Monbazillac to name some of the closer vineyards and if you care to drive a little further there is Bordeaux and the Medoc, Sauternes and Entre Deux Mers - à votre santé!
