There are many outstanding restaurants and vineyards within easy reach. The village is part of the commune de truffe and has its famous truffle market from December - February. 
 
There are many activities for all the family nearby from canoeing on the Dordogne, to horse riding, golf. cycling and walking. There are many historic sites, areas of natural beauty, caves, river beaches and chateaux.
