Vacation Rental Description
Welcome to our beautiful 'Chartreuse Le Cariol',
on the property of artist Marthijn de Groot
A classy mansion with five ‘chambres d’hôtes’, each with its own atmosphere
and fitted with all modern comforts. Groups can also rent the entire Chartreuse.
At Le Cariol, away from the humdrum of everyday life, you can unwind in an
environment where everything is geared towards relaxation and enjoyment.
You can relax because of the peace and quiet, laze around the pool in the
pool house, relax in the sauna or enjoy a nice glass of wine from our
wine cellar on our terrace or by the fireplace in the foyer… But you can
also relax and enjoy your encounters with art, culture, nice (local) cuisine –
either prepared in our own kitchen or somewhere else – and discovering
the Périgord Pourpre, a little south of Bergerac.
