"La Darwina" is located outside a tiny village called Lamonzie Montastruc, just 10km away from the center of Bergerac and 15 minutes from Bergerac airport. It is an ideal location for exploring surrounding area and visiting the numerous ancient towns and villages. The area is beautiful and tranquil, fantastic for bike riding and walking. Local shops are a few minutes drive away and supermarkets 15 minutes.

Staying at "La Darwina" affords the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. You can also venture out and explore all that the Dordogne has to offer, from the local markets to the historic buildings, the scenic countryside and wild life, the world famous vineyards and wines and the many activities.

This beautiful private stone house is an ideal holiday home for 5/7 people. It is situated in its own grounds and surrounded with fields and woodland. There is also a large garden with heated swimming pool. The kichen/living area has fitted units and is fully equipped including dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge, deep freeze and all kitchen ustensils,TV with English satellite. The cosy reading room has a warming fireplace and is equipped with a stereo dockstation for ipod, or any MP3 unit. The bar located in the center of the house is the perfect place to enjoy a nice drink while watching TV or listening to music. The lounge with its beautiful oak beams,stone walls, and fireplace is equipped with a TV plasma screen, a DVD player and English satellite TV. The entrance/bar area leads to the mezzanine level to the master bedroom with ensuite, to the Guest bedroom N°1 with ensuite that sleeps 2 and to Guest bedroom N°2 with ensuite that sleeps 1 .

Electricity, water, gas are included in the price together with all bed linen and towels

The area
The Pays de Bergerac provides a wonderful combination of gentle countryside, picturesque towns and villages, fine wines and gourmet food.

St Emilion and the many vineyards of the region are a must for those who wish to sample and perhaps take home some very fine wines.

Lac Jemaye is one of several nearby lakes offering a beach, children's play area, nature trail, restaurant and snacks, a good day out.

Low Season Price : €1100
High Season Price : €1800 per Week

25% non refundable deposit with booking is requested. Balance due 5 weeks before holidays, plus € 250 security deposit.

It is advisable to take out Travel Insurance Policy with cancellation clause, which may enable you to recover your deposit in the event you need to cancel your holiday.

The rental period shall commence on the Saturday at 16.00 hrs (4PM) and ends at 10.00 hours (10 AM) local time on the last day
