Vacation Rental Description
This former wine domaine has a large farmhouse(sleeps 7)'Le Domaine'and holiday cottage(sleeps 8)'La Grange'. Surrounded by vines in an elevated position overlooking the valley of the Dordogne both properties have views and their own garden each with built-in BBQ and furnished patio for outdoor living. They overlook the 12 x 6m terraced pool area, planted with flowers and shrubs, which commands far reaching views over the countryside. This pool is alarmed for safety of young children and also fenced to deter small children from entering this area without adult supervision. There is a boules court adjacent to the pool and you can play badminton in the pool field. There is also a childrens play area with swing etc. In the barn there is table tennis, table football and darts. 
 
Both properties are comfortably furnished, and kitchen equipment includes fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine essential for modern living.

    • Step outside the double doors from the living room into the garden and you can dine alfresco under the shade of your parasol all set out on the furnished paved patio, with built in BBQ, which overlooks the pool area. You will also find swings and a slide for younger children and of course, the swimming pool with paved area surrounding it, all overlooking the vines and surrounding countryside.

    • You can of course go canoeing on the river Dordogne and there is a choice of locations for this activity, the nearest being just 5 kms away from the properties. Tennis, shopping and trying the local delicacies is just a ten minute drive and mounting bikes can be hired locally - brought to the door! There is also a choice should you wish to try paint ball, quadbiking, jet skiing or karting, all within a few miles. 
    The house is situated adjacent to the local wine route with plenty of opportunity for a degustation (wine tasting). The 'Dordogne' is well-known for it's castles and caves and there is a practically unlimited number of attractions to explore in this picturesque and tranquil region.
