The cottage is located outside a tiny village called Lamonzie Montastruc, just 10 km away from the center of Bergerac and 15 minutes from Bergerac airport. It is an ideal location for exploring surrounding area and visiting the numerous ancient towns and villages. The area is beautiful and tranquil, fantastic for bike riding and walking. Local shops are a few minute drive away and supermarkets 15 minutes.

Staying at the cottage affords the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. You can also venture out and explore all that the Dordogne has to offer, from the local markets to the historic buildings, the scenic countryside and wild life, the world famous vineyards and wines and the many activities.

This beautiful private stonehouse is an ideal holiday home for 2/3 people. It is situated in its own grounds and surrounded by fields and woodland. There is also a large garden with shared heated swimming pool. The Cottage itself has its own garden/terrace. The fully equipped kitchen/living room and a warming logburner offer comforts of home. From there you can step into the new shower room or the spacious stylish bedroom with a double bed. Up on the mezzanine can sleep a third child/adult with a single bed.

The kitchen has fitted units and is fully equipped including dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge with deep freeze compartment, one extra small fridge, and all kitchen ustensils.

In the lounge is a television, a DVD player and English satellite TV.

Electricity, water, bottled gas are included in the price together with all bed linen and towels.

The area
The Pays de Bergerac provides a wonderful combination of gentle countryside, picturesque towns and villages, fine wine and gourmet food.

St Emilion and the many vineyards of the region are a must for those who wish to sample and perhaps take home some very fine wines.

Lac Jemaye is one of several nearby lakes offering a beach, children’s play area, nature trail, restaurant and snacks, a good day out.

High Season Price : €650 per Week

20% non refundable deposit with booking is requested. Balance due 4 weeks before holidays, a security deposit of € 150 to be paid by cheque or cash upon arrival.Security deposit is refundable one week after departure.

It is advisable to take out a Travel Insurance Policy with a cancellation clause, which may enable you to recover your deposit in the event you need to cancel your holiday.

The rental period shall commence on the Saturday at 16.00 hrs (4PM) local time on the first day and ends at 10.00 hrs (10AM) local time on the last day.

During low seasons, possiblity of shorter stays, long week-ends and flexible arrival and departure days.
