Vacation Rental Description
Situated at the top of a hill facing south, with an exceptional view overlooking the valley, it is an invitation to relax and take it easy. We are offering you the choice of four houses, each sleeping up to 5 adults, totally independent with their own entrance, private parking in an enclosed park of 1,7 hectare. There are two swimming pools of 8,5m X 4 m, heated from 02th June to 15th of September, (up to 26°). A large play area partially shaded, where children and adults can play, is set aside with swings, sand pit, and table tennis and football area. History and description. The four chalets were built to make the most of the exceptional setting overlooking the countryside and is somewhere you are able to have splendid holiday. All the houses are facing south to make the most of the sun in a park full of shrubs and trees. Each house is totally independent and there is a children play area in a quiet shady part of the park. All the bungalows have been built in a traditional way, with exposed solid beams. The furniture and fittings are of high quality. There is a constant supply of hot water, all the mattresses are in latex, and there is a large kitchen with solid wood units. ADDITIONAL CHARGES. Compulsory government tax: 0,50 Euros per person, per day (over the age of 18). Deposit: 30% of total price at time of booking. Deposit against damages due on the day of arrival: 200 Euros and refundable on departure. Hiring of bed linen: 8,50 Euros per person, per week. Hiring of towels: 6 Euros per person, per week. Hiring of cot: 7 Euros per week. Out of season, there will be an extra charge for the heating of the pool. Please therefore confirm use of, when booking. WE SPEAK ENGLISH HOUSE DESCRIPTION.
Built in 2005, these single storey houses have an area of approximately 50m2 with a covered terrace approx 20m2.Built with traditional material, extra insulation, and exposed timber beams, all fittings and furnishings are new. There is electrical central heating, making it a nice and cosy place to be for the winter breaks. INSIDE FITTINGS AND FURNISHINGS American style kitchen, with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, four rings gas hob and oven, extractor fan and complete utensils and crockery Dining room/sitting room with Hi-fi and satellite TV Bathroom with shower, washbasin, storage cupboard, and washing machine Separate WC Bedroom1: double bed with latex mattress, storage cupboard Bedroom2: 1 single, 1 bunk bed, all with latex mattresses. This room sleeps up to 3 Covered terrace in wrought iron with brick built barbecue, table and 6 chairs Linen available by request Cot available by request Sun loungers around the pool.

Six kms away is the town of Belves. You will find many shops, chemists and doctors. Belves a medieval town and a parish of Pope Clement V, will enthrall you with its 7 church spires, its fortifications and ancient troglodyte site. Fifteen minutes away by car ,you will find yourselve in the heart of the Perigord Noir, with its numerous castles which includes:Castle of Beynac (the most visited in Dordogne),Castle of Castelnaud (old weapon museum),Castle of Feyrac,Castle of Marqueyssac with its suspended gardens designed by Le Notre,Castle of Milandes, where Josephine Baker used to live,La Roque-Gageac a medieval village partly built in the cliff.Along the Dordogne, many companies provide you with guided river trips, or you may take the opportunity to hire a canoe and stop at one of the many picnic sites along the river.
