The apartment is located in a peaceful environment, close to the medieval historical centre of Sarlat and all amenities,supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants, banks... It is situated on the ground floor of the owner's contemporary house in a large 2 000 sq. meters, next to a swimming pool (9 by 4.5m) The apartment has a private access and its own large and shady terrace.
The recently refurbished apartment is bright and colourful. The modern furniture and equipment will offer you all the comfort you need for your holiday. The spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen lead directly onto the terrace. A sofa bed is available for an extra person if needed. The bedroom comprises a double bed, a bunk bed and a wardrobe. A bathroom is equipped with a body jets shower, toilet and a washbasin.
The spacious garden and the swimming pool you will share with the owners are a wonderful place to relax after a busy day .
Sarlat is probably the most beautiful medieval town in france and certainly the most visited one. It boasts spectacular medieval and renaissance architecture. A full day is necessary to visit all the monuments, to admire the magnificent houses built in the typical "golden stones" of the region, and to stroll through the labyrinth of alleys. It is a real journey into the past. Sarlat is also interesting for all its cultural activities, a theatre festival in july, movie festival in november and many street exhibitions every night during the summer. You can try the local regional cuisine in one of the many restaurants in the old town, stop for a drink on a terrace, or enjoy music in the renowned English pub, and do not forget to buy some local products at one of the most typical and colourful markets in France, held every wednesday and saturday.
