The bustling tourist resort of Paphos is a 15 minute drive away whilst the beautiful Troodos Mountains are a leisurely 45 minutes drive from the property.
The village of Mandria is but a 5 minute walk from the maisonette. Mandria Village has two tavernas, a new Italian restaurant,a fish restuarant,pizza cafe and two small well stocked supermarkets,hairdresser's,bakery and a bank. The tavernas have good food if not extensive menu and both are reasonably priced. The new restuarant offers an excellent menu of local and European food. Their is also a new beach bar where you can sit leisurely with a drink and watch the sun go down. The area is excellent for walking, hiking, cycling and watersports. The local bay is good for snorkeling whilst Paphos has a host of scuba diving clubs who will gladly cater for inexperienced and experienced divers alike.
