Special interest holidays
Droushia is on the edge of the Akamas Peninsula at the western most point of Cyprus, and the whole area is crisscrossed by rocky trails and long distance walking routes. Akamas is ideal for climbing, walking, running, mountain biking, swimming, diving, fishing, exploring, cruising on small craft, and bird watching.
We can advise you on walking, cycling and horse-riding and most other things you want to know to plan your holiday.
Akamas is one of the very few important sea turtle nesting areas in the Mediterranean for both the Loggerhead Turtle and the rarer Green Turtle.
The town of Paphos to the south, is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Among the treasures unearthed, are the remarkable mosaics in the Houses of Dionysus, Theseus and Aion, the mysterious vaults and caves, the Tombs of the Kings, and other places of interest.
