Vacation Rental Description
I bought this property on Leptos Regina Gardens because I fell in love with its ground floor location and larger than average patio area close to the beautifully landscaped pool. However, it will be some time before I can fulfill my wish to live there so in the meantime, I would love you to stay as my guests, so you can soak up the wonderful laid-back atmosphere of Cyprus. 
 
A complimentary hospitality pack will be awaiting you upon your arrival, containing items such as water, bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee - and the all important bottle of wine to help you relax after your journey. 
There is no traffic noise, the sun shines virtually all year and life is good. Full-length glass doors in the lounge and bedrooms open to overlook the pool, so you can wake up to views of blue skies and the sun sparkling on the water. The patio has large recliner sunbeds and table - ideal for those lazy days when all you need is sunscreen, a bottle of the excellent "Keo" beer or local wine, and the warm Cyprus sun. In the evening, fire up the BBQ on the patio, get some sausages and steak sizzling and refill your wine glasses. Relax, listen to the crickets and admire the pool as it glows from underwater lighting. 
 
You are close to the gorgeous EU Blue Flag beaches, delightful shops and within walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. It is also not far from the main shopping areas and nightlife with an array of traditional tavernas, British pubs and hot clubs and bars. food here is cheap but good, with many locals and tourists dining out as a matter of course. Bus services are low cost and fequent, taking you to harbour shops, the popular beaches at Coral Bay and the bustling market area in old Paphos, where you can haggle for souvenirs. If you decide to rent some wheels, local companies offer good deals on everything from bicycles to luxury 4WDs. If you want to take it easy, local tour companies arrange trips for those who wish to see more of this beautiful island in air-conditioned luxury. 
 
Cyprus has a fascinating blend of landscape, culture and history. For kids of all ages there is the excitement of an excellent water park and watersports of all types. Within 20 minutes drive, there are three top-class golf courses (par 71/72). 
 
There is a fascinating diversity of scenery and activities all year round. An idea of the many attractions is given below. 
 
In the winter, drive for an hour to Mount Troodos for some excellent skiing, then return in the afternoon to catch up with your sunbathing. 
 
The spring produces a kaleidoscope of colour with flowers and stunning green landscapes.  
 
In the summer, you can focus on your tanning strategies. Water sports abound for the athletic and you can jump on a bus to take the kids to the fantastic water park (show your bus ticket at the entrance for a full fare refund). If it gets too hot, head for the hills to cool down in one of the delightful local tavernas, sip a cool drink and meet the locals. 
 
Autumn brings a more tranquil season. There is more room in the shops, more space around the pool and on the beaches, and the sun, while still warm enough to sunbathe, has lost its "bite". It is a time for strolls, bicycle-riding and chatting to the many permanent UK residents, for which this is their favourite time of year.

I have furnished the apartment with comfort and luxury in mind. Air conditioning (which doubles as a heater unit) with remote control is installed, along with ceiling fans to cool and soothe your sunburn. Relax on the comfortable 3-piece suite to watch your favourite shows on the large-screen LCD TV with access to UK satellite channels. There is a DVD player (which also plays CDs). A fully-fitted kitchen has a washer/dryer, a built-in oven and hob with all utensils for you to prepare a meal. There is a small safe for your valuables. A cot and highchair are provided at no extra cost. The patio has large recliner sunbeds and table with shade umbrella - ideal for spoiling yourself. A barbeque is provided for your use.
