Vacation Rental Description
New 2 bedroom garden apartment with own private pool (solely for use of guests). Guests may also use the large communal pool and childrens pool together with sun loungers and parasols. The apartmment is located on the exclusive complex of Aphrodites Springs a few minutes walk from Geroskipou village square with its supermarket, shops, banks and tavernas. A blue flag beach is only a 20 minutes walk or 4 minutes drive through farmland; passing horse riding, the water park, mini golf and go-cart track on the way. There are also 3 golf courses nearby. The old town of Paphos, with its shops and restaurants, Paphos Harbour and the World Heritage Historic Sites are all within 10 to 15 minutes by car. There is also a bus stop 50 yards from the complex.
Changeover days are flexible to accommodate flights. You may take occupancy from 3 pm on day of arrival and vacate before 11 am on day of departure. This may be flexible by prior arrangement if there are no other arrivals or departures on the same day. A welcome pack is provided and heating/air conditioning is included.
The apartment has ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout. The open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area leads out via patio doors onto the sun terrace with your own private pool. The fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops includes oven, hob, extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster, ketttle, iron, ironing board, fire extinguisher and first aid kit. The spacious lounge/diner has an oak dining table, 4 upholstered chairs, 2 leather sofas (2 & 3 seater), coffee table, 29" flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player with DVD and CD library. The master bedroom has king size bed, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, mirror, hair drier, safe and patio doors leading to the terrace and pool. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, fitted wardrobes, dressing table, mirror and hair drier. The bathroom is fully tiled with basin in marble topped vanity unit, shaving point, wall mirror, bath, shower and wc. Outside on the terrace by the pool are loungers, brolly, table and 4 chairs
Geroskipou has a large blue flag sandy beach with shallow water protected by a rocky breakwater. There are ample loungers and parasols available to rent for a small charge. The tree shaded parking is free and there is even a tavern on the grassy area behind the beach.
Paphos Airport is 15 minutes by car (the new terminal building opened in Nov 2008). Please note that Geroskipou is not under the flight path so you will not be bothered by aircraft noise. Airport transfer is available. Car hire is recommended for exploring, prebooking is advisable in high season.
Golf can be played all year round. Secret Valley, par 71(5,989m) and Aphrodite Hills, par 71 (6,000m) are a 10 minute drive along the coast. Minthis Hills at Tsada, par 71 (5,828m) is 2,000ft up in the foothills of the Troodos and is a 25 minute drive.
In the winter months skiing is available in the Troodos Mountains approximately one hours drive away. Equipment can be rented at the ski resort.
