Vacation Rental Description
Spacious luxury ground floor air-conditioned detached apartment with private parking has fantastic coastline, sea and hill views and is part of a small complex which has a communal swimming pool with toilets and changing facilities and landscaped gardens. It is situated on the hillside in the attractive village of Chlorakas and is in an ideal location for a couple looking for a peaceful base to explore the wonderful island of Cyprus, although it is only 5 minutes by car and within 15 minutes walking distance to the popular Tombs of the Kings Road area and Paphos itself, or 10 minutes by car to the beaches of Coral Bay. This well appointed ground floor apartment has the privacy and outside space of an individual property or as guest said "it seems like your own little villa". The air conditioned lounge is spacious with patio doors leading outside to a covered patio area with table and chairs. This area provides a relaxing respite from the sun in the height of the summer so you can be lounging in the sun in the spacious garden area one minute and in the shade the next or enjoying the swimming pool which is just a few steps away. There is a large spacious air conditioned bedroom with twin beds and ample storage with fully fitted wardrobes with patio doors again which lead outside to a smaller patio. A large fully tiled bathroom with a double walk in shower. The dining area has a table and chairs. The fully fitted kitchen has all the necessary facilities and utensils for a self catering holiday. Outside there is a large area for relaxing in the sun with loungers and chairs, private parking area and a garden shed which can store any sporting equipment guests may wish to take.
Facilities
Ceiling fans in both lounge and bedroom. Portable radiators in lounge and bedroom. In the kitchen area the refrigerator has a built in freezer and there is an electric fan assisted oven and electric hob. All necessary utensils, glassware and crockery are provided. For entertainment the Hi-Fi system provides I-pod, CD, cassette and radio and there is a DVD system. Films and other DVD's are available to watch on the flatscreen TV. All linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided. There is a guest book in the apartment to provide useful information regarding local shops, restaurants, maps and excursions. The garden furniture consists of patio table and chairs, 2 sunloungers, 2 relaxer chairs, table and umbrella. Car hire can be arranged. Pickup by taxi from Paphos airport only can be arranged.
Activities
Supermarkets and restaurants are available in the village. For other activities such as watersports, night clubs and cinemas these are available either in nearby Paphos or Coral Bay. Golf is available at 3 championship golf courses. There are various hiking trails in the Arkamas penninsula or exploring the spectacular Troodos mountains by car is definitely worth doing. Day trips are available to Egypt arranged by any of the local tour companies.

Reduced rates for 2 weeks or more. A 25% deposit required on booking, non-refundable if cancelled within 8 weeks of departure, 50% refundable if cancelled within 12 weeks of departure. Balance payable 8 weeks before departure. A refundable key/damage charge of £50.00 payable by separate cheque is also required at the time of full payment. This cheque will be returned when the apartment has been checked and the keys returned. Air-conditioning is payable locally at a rate of 20 euros per week. If a welcome pack is required this is also payable locally. It is recommended to have holiday insurance to cover costs in the unforeseen event of cancellation. Payment to be made by cheque only. The property is booked from 1400 hours on the day of arrival to 1100 hours on departure day. This could be extended on departure day subject to availability. Changeover day is flexible to accommodate flight arrivals.

Apartment Marie in Chlorakas
We have owned our holiday home since 2005. It is our special place and we hope our guests feel the same way when they choose to holiday in Cyprus. Unlike other apartments with small balaconies, ours has lots of outside space for sunbathing, a covered terrace for outside eating and a private parking area at the side. Our guest book is full of positive comments about how comfortable the apartment is and how ideally situated for a relaxing holiday or if you want to explore. We always contact guests after their holiday to speak about their experience and if we can improve on anything and it is nice to know people are returning for another holiday. Chlorakas is a large village with various restaurants. Our favourites include Pepperonis - fantastic pizzas, Annabels - nice food and friendly service. Siennas restaurant - expensive but special. Duomos - another Italian restaurant. There are two large supermarkets also in the village to provide everything for self catering. Paphos is only 10 minutes by car and is a World Heritage site. The Tombs of the Kings and the Archeological museum are well worth visiting. The Arkamas penninsula and Troodos mountains have breathtaking scenery.
