The immediately surrounding area offers all modern amenities but still retains the traditional Cypriot way of life in a calm environment. Pervolia, 5 minutes drive away, is a typical Cypriot village, which can be described as idyllic. Over the last few years it has developed into a small tourist attraction without giving up its unique character. Banks, shops and supermarkets are available but it attracts discerning tourists who yearn for a small quiet place away from the large cities with charming people who will let you be part of their community and will welcome you with open arms. Larnaca is a working town, open all year, providing locally priced produce. Even so, if you want to let your hair down Ayia Napa is only 45 minutes drive away and there are endless things to do if you can tear yourselves away from Faros’ unique location.
