The village of Pyla is one of the few places in Cyprus that still has its original Turkish and Greek Cypriot communities living together in harmony after the partition. So, a visit to this peaceful and charming village really will give you a feel for what life was like in Cyprus before the Turkish invasion. Although a small village there is plenty to see and to do. Visitors particularly enjoy taking a look at the tower in the central square, local churches, cafes and shops. The local beach is also nearby and offers a range of water sports and amenities. Pyla is also popular with hikers, cyclists and nature lovers due to its proximity to a local pine forest. You can also take a trip over the border into Northern Cyprus from the village.

    • There is hair dryer, hair straighteners, remote controlled air-conditioning and security safe. Bath with overhead shower, large storage cupboard. Towels provided. Spacious luxury kitchen with all appliances and utensils. Fan assisted oven, hob and overhead extractor, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. Balcony complete with large glass table and 4 chairs. 4 beach towels, 2 tennis rackets and balls, football. Towels and bedlinen are included. Change of bedlinen and mid-let clean are available at additional cost. There is heating and air-conditioning in all rooms. There is a view of the pool and tennis court from the bedroom and the balcony overlooks the tennis court. Great environment for children with shallow end in pool and enclosed complex with electric gates and intercom access to apartments. High chairs and cots can be arranged on request at extra cost.

    • Coast/Beach 
    5 minutes drive to award winning sandy Pyla beach which is safe for children with shallow calm waters. Life guards. Volley ball nets. Play ground. Bars and restaurants. Larnaca beach 15 minutes drive. Famous Nissi beach 30 minutes drive. Plus a number of beautiful beaches all around the coast line accessible by car. Water sports available at most beaches. 
     
    Skiing 
    Skiing is available during the winter months in the Troodos Mountains, which are approximately an hours drive away. Skiing equipment can be hired at Troodos and there is also an area for sledging. 
     
    Travel 
    Larnaca Airport is 15-20 minutes drive. Car hire is available at the airport or you can easily pick up a taxi. Car hire is recommended and there are plenty of car hire agents. There is a regular local bus service.
