Activities
The Choirokoitia area:
The picturesque village of Choirokoitia straddles a ridge overlooking the valley of the Maroni River towards the southern coast of the island about 6 km from the sea. It is a 10 minute drive to the local Governor’s Beach which offers horse riding, fishing, cycling and walking the nearby nature trials and the village of Zygi which is famous for its wonderful fish restaurants and stunning deep blue sea.
The local Community Council has created an amazing Nature Trail, which travels through Choirokoitia, where you can admire the picturesque character of the community, the paved small streets and the traditional houses of the village.

- Travel Info: Fly with a choice of airlines including budget airlines. Gemstone Village is located about 25 mins from Larnaca airport and 1 hour and 20 mins from Paphos Airport. Both airports offer car rental from the major car hire companies.
Driving is easy as you drive on the left hand side of the road and the road signs are in English as well as Greek.
