Stroll down the narrow winding streets of the Turkish quarter of Kyrenia/ Girne and find amongst the old houses and shops an imposing villa, set within a walled landscaped garden with a private pool (10m x 5m) that is drenched in sun all day. The villa, recently renovated, is extremely spacious and has high ceilings. The old thick walls can still be seen in the well-equipped kitchen and front reception room; one of two comfortable reception rooms which, with the kitchen, open onto the terrace that surrounds the villa. The en-suite bedrooms lead onto a balcony with views of the Beshparmak mountains. The gardens and terraces provide plenty of space for outdoor living and children to play. There is also space to park 2 cars. Freshly baked bread can be bought for breakfast from the bakery opposite, the butcher and grocer are a minute down the road. The busy shopping area, cafes and charming harbour with its historic castle are only a leisurely 10 minute walk away.

Northern Cyprus, said to be one of the last unspoilt corners of the Mediterranean, has miles of natural beaches. Situated on the north coast is Kyrenia, or Girne in Turkish, with its 6,000 year long history. It is an idyllic Mediterranean town. The villa is in the heart of Kyrenia and is within walking distance of shops, places of historic interest and transport links to the rest of the island. The beautiful, unspoilt Alagadi beach is just 15 minutes drive away from the villa and is a haven for the endangered Caretta sea turtles. Nicosia is 15 minutes away by car, Famagusta 45 minutes. Ercan airport is 35 minutes away and Larnaca about an hour and 15 minutes by car.

A Play Station 2 (with a small selection of games) as well as an assortment of books are available for guests to use. Grocery packs, containing a wide range of provisions, can be ordered on booking. Familiarization tours of the local amenities and places of interest can also be arranged. Guests have the use of a 'Pay As You Go' mobile phone during their stay.

For those who want a relaxing holiday, it is not necessary to hire a car. The villa is centrally located, ideal for visiting the historic sights of Kyrenia town, the many shops, restaurants and the famous, bustling harbour.

Flights coming into Ercan and Larnaca can be met and guests driven to the villa, please enquire when booking. Car hire can also be arranged. Cars hired in the North of Cyprus usually have free pick up and drop off at Larnaca and Ercan airport.

Bedrooms 1& 2 have separate dressing rooms and en-suite. They also have double wooden doors that open onto a large balcony with seating facilities. Generous fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms. Bed linen and towels will be changed midweek. Hair-dryer in master bedroom.

The pool is fitted with the latest salt cholorinator system, a natural way to keep the swimming pool clean with superior water quality. The lower level of chlorine and natural salt in the pool system eliminates sore and burning red eyes, green hair, skin irritation and overpowering chlorine odors. Swimmers feel refreshed and skin retains its soft texture. Users enjoy their swimming experience so much more in crystal clear water and don't feel as if they have just taken a bath in chemical soup.

Rental rate depends on number of bedrooms used, each room accommodates two guests.

Low season: 1-2 bedrooms £500, 3 bedrooms £650, 4 bedrooms £800.
Mid season: 1-2 bedrooms £600, 3 bedrooms £750, 4 bedrooms £900.
High season: 1-2 bedrooms £900, 3 bedrooms £1050, 4 bedrooms £1200.Rental rate depends on the number of guests:

A two week stay will qualify for a 10% discount of the appropriate rental rate.

Discounts are available for last minute bookings.

A security deposit of £100 is required (for loss of keys, damages) it will be refunded within 14 days of the end of your holiday.

A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking, the remainder payable 8 weeks before the start of the holiday.
