Plum Garden Cottage is a stone built village house, sympathetically renovated, retaining many original features. Simply and comfortably furnished as a home with mainly Cypriot furniture, some antique, and fittings in keeping with the property. The garden provides a peaceful shady haven within the quiet mountain village of Karaman.This is well-kept, quiet mountain village with little through traffic and in which many of the properties are holiday homes. Plum Garden Cottage has shaded garden areas and a roof terrace with fine sea and mountain views. The nearby properties are frequently empty and the general setting provides the opportunity for peace and tranquillity. Northern Cyprus is renowned for it's beaches, accessible antiquities, mountain scenery, relaxed, friendly and undemanding atmosphere. There are a wide range of places to eat catering for every taste and pocket. Karaman has a shop which provides most of life's necessities, two restaurants and a pub. The nearby small holiday village has a pool, bar and restaurant open to non-residents. Beaches are 15 minutes away by car. A car is recommended and car hire can be arranged. The garden and roof terrace have tables, chairs and loungers to allow you to enjoy the delights of the outdoor mediterranean lifestyle. The garden has three distinct areas and is secluded and hidden from passers by. There is a barbecue that provides the opportunity to cook the fresh ingredients available from the markets. The property has a folder providing information on tourist attractions and facilities, along with a small library and a variety of videos and DVDs. The television is solely for the DVD/VCR and has no access to a television signal. The local restaurants, shop, bar and pub are within easy walking distance and the small holiday village, which has a pool,bar and restaurant, is within 10/15 minutes walk.

North Cyprus has a variety of excellent dive sites and dive schools. The beaches are readily accessible and frequently have plenty of facilities. Paragliding is available and the launch site is in the mountains above Karaman. 
 
There is a fine selection of Castles and archaelogical sites throughout the country and around, and in, Kyrenia. Much of the countryside is unspoilt and it is well worth exploring. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, and in the right season the flowers and blossom can be spectacular. 
 
Restaurants abound, of all degrees of culinary ability and cuisine, with and without entertainment. The harbour in Kyrenia provides a fine setting for eating and drinking. 
 
Whether you want a quiet time or an active one the opportunity is available.

Pricing is on numbers of people as shown in the table and is the same throughout the year. Flexibility is available both on the length of stay and arrival and departure dates. The minimum charge period will be the cost for a week and additional periods of less than a week are charged pro-rata. The rent includes a "Welcome Pack" to provide a snack on arrival and something for breakfast. A deposit of 50% is required when booking if the booking is made more than 10 weeks in advance. A refundable damage deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking. A refund of 50% of the deposit will be made if the booking is cancelled more than 10 weeks before the booked date, 25% if cancelled up to 6 weeks beforehand. The balance must be paid at least 6 weeks prior to the booked date. Refunds will not normally be made for cancellations less than 6 weeks prior to the booked date. Payment can be by cheque or bank transfer.
