Vacation Rental Description
The apartment was built in 2004. All the rooms are spacious and furnishings and facilities are of a superior standard. All rooms have air-con which can also be used for heating purposes and there are also fly screens to all windows. Patio doors from the lounge area open up onto a terrace which overlooks the communal swimming pool. The apartment nestles in the foothills of the Bespemark mountains and offers a very quiet and relaxing setting.

Hob/stove, oven, iron/ironing board, room fans, toaster, kettle, water dispenser and a breakfast bar with 4 stools, rear terrace with drying facilities, front terrace with patio table and six carver patio chairs and large parasol, The weekly rental price includes a welcome pack, bedlinen, bath and beach towels. The property is cleaned prior to your arrival, and cleaning during your stay can be arranged and paid locally.
Notes on accommodation:
The property is in a block of four and is situated on the first floor and there are two flights of stairs leading up to the property. As there is a balcony the apartment could be considered not suitable for small children. Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the apartment. Car hire is strongly recommended.
Activities
Coast/Beach:
There are numerous beaches within a short drive from the apartment. The nearest beach is located approx 2 miles away. There is a directory in the apartment giving details of all the local beaches and their facilities. Some beaches have full tourist facilities, others you will be the sole sunbather, there is also a turtle conservation project beach nearby. For those who like sight seeing there are interesting castles and Roman ruins in abundance. A trip to the Karpas is a must.
Golf:
Korineum Golf and Country club is a short drive East. It is an 18 hole championship course with a private club house, restaurant and spa.
Further details:
There are numerous bars, restaurants, and supermarkets which all sell recognised UK products. There are plenty of banks and money exchange places, but the UK pound is widely accepted everywhere. Most places also accept credit cards.

We always fly to Larnaca and book a taxi from Larnaca to the apartment. Travelling time from Larnaca to the apartment is approx 1 hour 20 mins. The cost of the taxi from Larnaca is approx £80 return. Flights from Larnaca are generally cheaper and there is more choice. Flights to Ercan in North Cyprus involve a short stop over in Turkey, usually Istanbul. You don't have to get off the plane and you are usually on the ground approx 1/2 hour. Taxi cost is £50 return.

The nearest village is Catalkoy and there are some lovely walking areas all around the apartment. Kyrenia harbour is approx 6 miles away. Car hire is strongly recommended. Driving is on the same side of the road as UK.
