Villa Kairos is a luxury waterfront villa on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia set in a sunny west-facing position and away from any traffic noise providing for a peaceful and picturesque setting. The newly refurbished and modern villa is split into three apartments with two available to rent either together or separately accommodating from two to eight people. The grounds encompass 500sq/m of lush gardens and paved areas which give direct access to the beach as well as a small boat jetty. The villa is only 10km from Split airport, 3.5km from Trogir(UNESCO town), and located in Okrug Gornji on the island of Ciovo which is connected to the mainland via a drawbridge. There are many exciting day trips on which to embark from the area and you can park your vehicles securely on-site. Luxury sun-lounges flank the 50sq/m balcony as well as waterfront garden affording stunning panoramic views. Waterfront dining and patio dining areas with the option of cooking on a traditional stone BBQ will allow for some tranquil outdoor living. Enjoy paddling around the bay in the Kayaks provided or watch the sunset from the garden swing-chair or hammock. From inside, enjoy free wireless internet and local phone calls in air-conditioned comfort or chose a DVD from the library and enjoy a movie on the flat-screen T.V. while lazing on the leather sofa. The details of Villa Kairos I and Villa Kairos II are as follows:

Villa Kairos I is a 150sq/m 3 bedroom apartment (including balcony) occupying the entire 1st floor of the villa. The air-conditioned & spacious living room provides a 6-seater mahogany dining table with ocean views. The seating area contains a large leather sofa, coffee table & fireplace beside which is a flat screen digital T.V. with a Sony Playstation (games) & a DVD player(choose from library of DVD’s). A Sony Hi-Fi system with MP3 player provides for music to enjoy throughout your stay. The fully integrated kitchen is entered off of the living room & contains a fridge/freezer, oven, ceramic hob, extractor, microwave, toaster & all kitchen utensils with tea and coffee making facilities. The hallway leads to three bedrooms & the bathroom. Two of these rooms have king sized beds and double glazed aluminium doors which lead to the 50sq/m balcony where you’ll enjoy relaxing on the luxury sun lounges with panoramic views. Both these bedrooms have a stereo/CD player, a free standing fan, a radiator heater, ample cupboard space & a pin activated safe in which to keep your valuables. The 3rd bedroom has two single beds and overlooks a pretty garden. All bedroom furniture is German made & of the highest quality. The Villeroy & Boch designer bathroom is fitted with a wall mounted sink, toilet, bidet, washing machine, & a spacious corner shower all finished with brushed chrome Grohe accessories.

Villa Kairos II is a 25sq/m self contained studio apartment on the ground floor entered from the patio dining area seating eight. The air-conditioned studio room features a luxury German made bedroom suite with a stereo/DVD/ MP3 system, ample cupboard space & a pin activated safe. On the flat screen digital T.V. you can enjoy an array of different channels or a movie from the DVD library. The kitchenette contains a fridge/freezer, sink hob, extractor, & all kitchen utensils as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom features a shower/WC finished with brushed chrome Grohe accessories & washing machine/dryer. All bed linen, bathroom towels & beach towels are provided. Free wireless internet connection is included as well as the use of 2 cots & high-chairs.

Location: Villa Kairos is on the waterfront in an area on the island of Ciovo called Okrug Gornji. The town centre of Okrug Gornji takes ten minutes by foot and provides supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, post office, hairdresser and bakery. The local bus stop is only 5 minutes by foot and has buses that run hourly to Trogir. Trogir is reputedly the most picturesque town on the Dalmatian Coast and a Unesco Heritage site. It boasts a world class marina, beautiful buildings, forts, cathedrals, and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. With so many choices of things to do in Ciovo there's something for everyone. Enjoy lazing on the beach in front of the villa, exploring ancient Trogir, driving down the scenic coast to Makarska, taking a ferry boat to a surrounding island, visiting the city of Split-UNESCO, diving on a coral reef or partaking in other aquatic adventures, visiting Krka National Park or venturing to a vineyard.

We've all had a fantastic week in this lovely villa. Temperatures in the mid-high thirties everyday! We were glad to have that beautiful sea night on our doorstep so we could cool off! Have had fun everyday with the sea kayaks and afterwards were glad to have the lovely, comfy sun-beds to relax on. It's been great picking lemons and plums from the garden. We will miss that fabulous view from the balcony and that sunset!

Awesome and outstanding in every way!! Pity we didnt have time to try out the Kayaks. 5 star accommodation at a minimum. Fantastic views and great sunbathing & swimming from the jetty. Its difficult to see any way that this could be made any better we'll definitely be back.

Balancing that with trips to Trogir and Split made for a relaxing second half to our holiday. We had a guided tour of Split, which really enhanced the experience. The restaurant at Duga is well worth a visit with a pre-prandial swim to work up an appetite.

After our long drive all the way over Europe(I’m not complaining!) It was definitely worth it! The beach was amazing and the views were spectacular! A word of advice though, when swimming beside the waterfalls of Krka National Park, don’t swim towards the deep areas unless the current caries you away from them or if you’re a really strong swimmer. I recommend the tube ride to those who like a thrill(just along the beach). Thank you!

Thank-you very much for a lovely, lovely holiday. Your villa is super- so pleasant to be in and well-equipped, and we loved the garden and terraces and the sunset over the Adriatic. We started the week doing quite a bit of sight-seeing, but gradually became more and more content
to walk around the coast first thing and then spend the rest of the day on the beach or in the garden. We all felt truly relaxed, and I was praised over and over again by my friends for my excellent choice of villa!
We also enjoyed shopping in the market in Trogir and eating the delicious local veg, fruit, cheese, bread, fish and seafood.

A very relaxing week! Swim, sunbathe, eat, sunbath, sleep, sunbathe! Beautiful weather, loved the quiet beach and warm clear water. Trogir provided us with a couple of very special evenings: we recommend the ‘Atta Restaurant’ although everywhere we ate had equally delicious fish and helpful waiting staff. A drive around the island in our rented car showed us that Ciovo is increasingly popular – lots of apartments going up everywhere! It would be interesting to come back in the future and see how things change... My only regret? I wish we could stay longer!! Thank you Sarah and Jasmina for a super week.

Enjoyed ten thoroughly relaxing days here – apartment well set up and comfortable. Well worth hiring a car for a few days – we enjoyed a good day out at Krka National Park and waterfalls and a stop off at Primosten on the return. Also day down the coast to Makarska stopping off at lots of small resorts along the way....Ferry ride from Trogir to Drvenik also good value. Don’t miss the small bar on top of St Marks Tower in Trogir, good value for sunset views of the town. Finally say ‘hello’ to the neighbours (they don’t bite!) and Igor may guide you around the Roman ruins of Salona of which he is justly proud. Thanks to Sarah and Jasmina.

Finnish friends gathered here for a kind of class reunion. It was the class of ’60-’63 at Kaleva High School in Tampere. What a reunion it was! We enjoyed laying on the terrific sun lounges watching the world go by, long dinners under the moon and stars, a lot of talk, early morning dips in the Adriatic and long breakfasts at a leisurely pace….like this morning when I’m writing this before getting ready for a match of tennis. (And then have to remember to feed the fish). Tomorrow will be a different morning. All this will come to an end. Jasmina who has taken such good care of us (in an angel fashion) will come and count the …and send us away from this paradise. Sadly, but with fond memories.
