Vacation Rental Description
The Quaich is situated at the foot of the mountains in the peaceful village of Vrbanj. 3 cottages surround a communal courtyard and private swimming pool and can sleep a maximum of 10. Our cottages, which are converted animal houses, are fitted to a very high standard yet also keeping their simple charm. Our aim is to provide simple luxury for our guests. The owners, Chris and Mick live on site and will endeavour to fulfil your every need. To enjoy The Quaich to it's full advantage we recommend car hire during your stay but several of the nearby towns and villages are within walking distance and cycling is very popular on the island. We are 5kms from the local ferry port of Stari Grad and 22 kms from Hvar town. There are many restaurants close by and a couple of bars and restaurants in Vrbanj itself. We offer a Romantic package also in our most luxurious cottage and the cost includes several 'extras'. We offer many on-site services including picnics, evening meals on request, library, DVDs, taxi service.

    • The British owners live on site all year round and are nearly always on hand for advice etc. We run our own 'taxi' service for guests and will also cook for you if required. Cocktails and cold beers by the pool are a must at The Quaich. Our aim is simple luxury for our guests so if there is anything you need we will try to comply.

    we require a non refundable 30% deposit at time of booking payable by bank transfer. The balance is due by bank transfer 8 weeks prior to arrival. Guests should make their own insurance arrangements to cover cancellations. We also provide a Romantic Package which includes champagne and chocolates on arrival, a special candle lit dinner by the pool and breakfast on one of your mornings with us. The additional charge is 120 euros per week. We have a minimum stay of 3 nights during the high season. We do not have a specific change over day.
