Old stone house, traditionally restored. Accomodation on three floors.
Kitchen on ground floor with wood burning stove, gas cooker, fridge, table, 8 chairs, coffee table and sofabed. Outside steps leading to first floor terrace with vine and table. Front door leading into living area with daybed. Door leads into double bedroom with wardrobe, bathroom with toilet, hadnbasin and shower. Washing machine. Upstairs from living area/entrance, hallway with double bedroom, small bedroom with bunk beds and bathroom with toilet, handbasin and shower.
Door from the small room leads out onto a roof terrace.
Outside the house, we have part of a shared garden. This is newly planted so not fully mature yet, but pretty and quite secluded. Steps lead down to this from the first fllor doubnle bedroom, as well as a path behind the house.

In Stari Grad there are lots of traditional bars and restaurants, where the locals often break into song. The old town has fascinating lanes to wander, old houses, gardens, churches and museum to visit. In Jelsa, a short bus ride away, is the island's well known nightclub. A few miles in the opposite direction is the beautiful old Hvar town with its ancient citadel, Franciscan monastery and winding lanes.
There are trips to nearby Brac island, and to Vis with its famous blue cave, off road trips to hidden parts of the islands, and lots of others. You can hire bikes or walk in the hills and woods, along the coast and down rocky paths to isolated coves for swimming and sunbathing.

A traditionally restored old stone terraced house in Styari Grad, the oldest town in Croatia. On the island of Hvar, voted one of ten most beautiful islands by Conde Nast Traveller. A couple of minutes from the harbour, with market, shops, restaurants and bars. a few minutes walk to the beach, and a coastal wooded footbath to lots of quiet coves and swimming places.
The house is arranged on three floors. The ground floor is a big kitchen/living room, with bare stone walls and a woodburning stove as well as a well equipped fitted kitchen.
Upstairs is a shaded terrace leading to the first floor, with living area with sofa bed and double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Next floor up are a double and a bunk bedroom and another bathroom, with large roof terrace leading from small bedroom.
Outside is a newly planted garden area. Unloading outside the house and parking at thirty metres.
Excursions, bike/carhire, or just quiet walks.

Low Season Price : £400
High Season Price : £700 per Week
Deposit of 25% with balance payable eight weeks before holiday. Payment by cheque which must be cleared or bank transfer.
