Two charming and cozy bungalows for rent, located in the ancient village of Babino Polje, right in the middle of island Mljet. Each of the two bungalows has capacity for 2 persons (and a dog!) and has a living/sleeping room, a kitchenette, a bathroom with the shower and a spacious 25 sqm porch where you can enjoy your meals or simply relax with an evening drink. The two bungalows share a small garden and are surrounded by olive trees and it's hard to imagine another place where you can get as in touch with the nature as here!
The village of Babino Polje is the island's 'capital', situated on the hill sides and with a nice view on a green valley and the sea in the back. Old stone houses and small alleys will give you a taste of past, while the vineyards and small fields owned by locals will reveal some of its present. If you are a true nature and hiking lover this the right place to discover that Mljet is not only about the sea.. this central location infact gives you the possibility to discover some of its most hidden secrets at walking distance!
The Sutmiholjska beach is at only 5 min by car and one of the greatest island's spots, the Ulysses's Cave, is reachable with a pleasant walk - find out where Ulysses met his nymph Calypso..and take a refreshing swim in a crystal clear sea!
