With stunning views of the mountains, valleys and river, Rila View Lodge is situated in the beautiful mountain village of Madjare just 100 metres from the Cerni Iskar river. We have 8 spacious bedrooms 6 of which have en-suite shower rooms whilst the remaining 2 share the 7th shower room. To take advantage of the beautiful views every bedroom has access to a balcony. There is a very large lounge/dining room with a lovely log fire, satellite TV/DVD and CD player. On the 2nd floor we have a second lounge with a small kitchen. The lodge has central heating throughout. Our aim is to provide you with a relaxed, stress free holiday in warm and friendly surroundings. We offer a catered package including: Airport transfers from/to Sofia airport; Welcome drinks/snacks; Bed & breakfast that includes a hot option; fantastic, home cooked, three course evening meal on six evenings; Wine, beer and soft drinks will be served with the evening meal; Daily transport to/from the gondola station in Borovets
Madjare is located in the foothills of the stunning Rila Mountains of Bulgaria. The Rila Mountains being the highest mountain range on the Balkan Peninsular. Rila View Lodge commands stunning views of the mountains, rivers and valleys. Quite and peaceful but still only 70km from Sofia and only 20 minutes drive from the international ski resort of Borovets and only 10 minutes from the provincial capital of Samokov. Both Borovets and Samokov have an abundance of restaurants, bars and night clubs.
Local activities cycling, fishing, golf, hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, mountaineering, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, walking and foremost, relaxing whislt breathing fresh mountain air.

We provide catered accommodation therefore although the lodge has a fully equipped kitchen this facility is not available to our guests. On the 2nd floor there is lounge/dining area with tea and coffee making facilities.
Although the property does not have it's own swimming pool it is located within 100-metres of the Cerni Iskar river which is a local tourist attraction in the summer. There are a number of outdoor spas close to Madjare that are easily accessable by local transport or hire car.
The advertised local beach is at the side of Lake Iskar and not the Black Sea. Lake Iskar is the largest manmade lake in Bulgaria and it is used for fishing and water sports as well as swimming and bathing.
Being located at the edge of the Rila National Park the main summer activities are hiking, climbing and fishing. The services of local guides can be arranged on your behalf if required.

Low Season Price : £200 High Season Price : £275 per Week
Prices from £200 per person per week based on two people sharing a twin or double room in the summer season. The package includes the following: - Collection to/from Sofia airport. - Welcome drinks/snacks. - Bed/breakfast each day - 3-course evening meal served with wine, beer or soft drinks on 6 days. - On the one day an evening meal is not provided you will be transported to a local restaurant. - Daily transport to/from your activity location. We do provide B&B accommodation, prices TBC. A deposit of £80 per person is required to secure a booking. At peak times a supplement of £50 per week will apply to a single person occupying a double room. Please enquire about large group bookings because we can offer generous discounts. Our prices do not include airfares however there are low cost flights direct to Sofia from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Manchester. For the best discounted fares it is advisable to book in advance.
