Excellent location for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in winter and hill walking, hiking, horse riding and mountain biking in summer. Extremely cheap family, couples or group holiday. The Flora Apartment Complex is located on the edge of the pine forests just 50m away from the Gondola Station and very close to the nursery/beginners ski area and starting points of a number of beautiful scenic summer mountain walks.
In winter the Gondola takes you up to the start of the highest ski pistes offering breath-taking views while you ski. All pistes are well prepared and of varying gradients offering excellent enjoyment for all ski abilities. In summer the Gondola takes you to the start of the famous Moussala hike, the highest peak in the Balkans standing a majestic 2925 metres. Other summer walks close-by are to the Kings Palace and Hunting Lodge. Both winter and summer offer breath-taking panoramic views.
In the town itself, there are numerous restaurants to chose from all within very easy walking distance. Nearby sports shops stock a variety of goods and there are also two small supermarkets for purchasing food for self catering cooking. Food and drink are extremely cheap making Borovets an excellent choice for either a winter or summer holiday in the mountains on a low budget.
Each Apartment is spacious (70sq m each) with a large living area, large double bedroom with walk-in storage area (for ski/walking gear), bathroom with bath and shower and well equipped open-plan kitchen. The double bedroom has two single beds placed next to one another making a double for couples but these can easily be separated for individual use. The bedroom also has one additional fold-out bed to accommodate a 3rd person. The sofa in the living area converts to a comfortable double bed providing sleeping accommodation for an additional 2 persons. This means that each Apartment easily accommodates 5 persons. The bedroom and living areas each have a small balcony overlooking the mountains and pine forests allowing you to enjoy the splendour of the Rila Mountain range. All bed linen and towels are provided and the Apartments are fully serviced twice a week. Each Apartment also has internet access. The open-plan kitchen is well equipped with a 2 plate cooking hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, coffee-maker, cooking pots/dishes/utensils, crockery and glasses. The living area is equipped with a comfortable 3-seater sofa bed, armchair, coffe table, dining table/chairs, cable television, DVD player, stereo sound system and internet access point. Some DVD's, games and reading books are also provided making evenings together relaxing and fun. In the basement of the Complex there is an Irish Bar, Cassino and a health/fitness club with a small gym, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and health spa offering massage (nominal additional charges apply). Next to the health/fitness club is a games room with a table tennis and pool table and a tennis court is located outside. Situated next to the apartment complex is the Flora Hotel (direct access) where meals are served (these are not included in the Apartment rental). In the reception area of the complex you will find a small bank and there are some shops selling useful personal items. Unlike many other low budget holiday apartments, these Apartments provide a very high standard of comfort and hygiene.
Two identical Apartments located next to one another are available for rent either individually or together making them very convenient for larger families with children or groups of friends.
We will offer a 10% discount on the total rental cost when both Apartments are rented together for the same occupancy period.
Please note that although the Apartments are located next to one another, there is no internal connecting door between the Apartments.
