Sunset Resort is a 5 star frontline development, perfectly orientated in a south westerly direction on the south beach in the town of Pomorie. It is only 15 minutes away from Bourgas airport and 20 minutes from the second biggest city on the black sea coast-Bourgas. 
The resort is situated on a beautiful natural sandy beach, more than 400 metres long and at a distance far enough from the main road to provide a tranquil atmosphere for its guests. 
The south beach in Pomorie is situated on a quiet gulf of the black sea coast and is one of the safest beaches in Bulgaria, having very slight surf, almost no tide and Blue Flag clean water. 
The resort comprises of 5 main buildings, all of which have bars, cafes and restaurants and other facilities. There are a great number of swimming pools, poolside bars, and pool animation articles with a total area of 3500 sq.metres, internal swimming pool, an outdoor aqua facility which includes a lazy pool and slides. There is also abundant landscaping and free direct access to the beach. 
Other facilities include- 7 restaurants serving European, Mediterranean, Italian, French, Asian and Bulgarian cuisine. There are also cafes, pastry shops, ice cream parlours, cocktail bars, lobby bars, cigar bar and vitamiin bar and a variety show restaurant. 
There is car hire, kindergarten/crèche, pool, billiards, fitness centre including aerobic and free weights equipment, a wellness centre including spa, massage, sauna and steam room, mud baths, plunge pools, caldarium, hydro pools and resting area, doctor and first aid, hair and nail salons, shops and post office, laundry and dry cleaning and an internet centre. There is also a bowling alley and bike hire is available. 
All inclusive upgrades available. Half day 50 Lev. Full day 78 Lev and a single all inclusive meal costs 30 Lev. Prices correct as from June 2009.

The apartment is 117 square metres and sleeps 6 comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with 4 single beds and a leather double sofa bed in the lounge along with another 2 seater leather sofa and leather armchair. Dining table and 6 chairs with all cutlery and tableware. There is a travel cot provided also. A tv and dvd player along with a selection of music and films is also provided. There are inflatables and fishing equipment and mini surf boards for your use, along with a Garrett metal detector to try your luck at beachcombing and a Nintendo Wii and Fit board for your use.

Sunny Beach is only 15 minutes away where you will find an abundance of restaurants and nightclubs. There is a winery adjacent to Sunset Resort selling some of the finest Bulgarian wines. Nessebar is a Unesco world heritage site and is only 15 minutes away. There is an Aqua park on the way to Sunny Beach and well worth a visit.  
There are water sports available including wind surfing, jet ski's, parasending and a bannana boat.

• Travel Info: Bourgas airport is the nearest and only 10 minutes from Sunset Resort. The next nearest airport is Varna and is about 1.5 hours drive. Airport transfers can be arranged at time of booking.

Hi Kevin
Thank you so much for letting us rent the apartment from you, it was all you said it would be, the girls loved the wii and sunset resort was perfect for us it is such a lovely place.
We defiantly want to go back next year so i was wondering what sort of availability you have for next year and also do you know any of the other owners as friends would like to come with us too and rent one.
Thank you again we had such a good holiday and lots of fun was had by all, we also found all the info you gave us alot of help Bar traffic was great.

Hi Kevin,

Wow! We had a fabulous time, thank you! The apartment was GREAT and the resort was perfect for us. We got to meet a few other families who had been several times before and they gave us some great tips of where to eat etc.

I didn’t receive your email until I returned, so the Wii was a very welcome surprise! Kept my kids quiet anyway! Your wine remained intact, but thank you for the offer and it seems that previous guests had also behaved themselves as there was only one bottle missing. The reception staff were also very helpful with information for taxi’s and buses and couldn’t do enough to help us.

All in all, the apartment was more than we could have imagined. It was spacious and comfortable and it really helped to be able to relax in the evenings with a DVD and some nibbles. I am sure we will be contacting you in the future to book another holiday.

Hi Kevin
I just wanted to email and say we had a fantastic holiday in Bulgaria. This was our third time at Sunset Resort and my parents joined us having booked an apartment in Sigma. Your apartment has been by far the best apartment we have had so far, like home from home. There was plenty of seating both outside and inside and the kids loved the wii and wide selection of DVDS. The wine was very nice - we did replace what we drank though !!! Even milk in the fridge when we arrived. So a very big thankyou. We will certainly be in touch to book your apartment again, we are not sure if that will be next year as yet but fingers crossed.
