Vacation Rental Description
The studio is in a secure development called "Aurelia" and is just south of the ancient Sea Capital of Bulgaria, Nessebar.
The Complex is new and is well maintained by permanent and helpful staff and offers 24/7 security. Car parking is free and is also within the security boundary. The sea is calm here as it is protected by a reef and the sand is fine and soft. Sun bathing and swimming are great experiences, and there are bars and restaurants on hand to relax in the evening if you don’t want to venture too far. Or you could take a chilled beer from the fridge in your room and drink on the balcony with a view of the sunset. Food and drink in Bulgaria are far cheaper than in England, so for about £8 or less you could get scrumptious meal for two, including wine!
Not more than a walk-away, less than one kilometre, are Ravda and Nesebar. Ravda is a lively village with shops, bars and restaurants. Old Nesebar is the pride of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, a peninsular town with historical architectural relics including Byzantine church ruins some dating back 3000 years BC, when the Thracians ruled this part of the world. It is a UNESCO heritage site, with lovely old wooden houses and cobbled streets. It’s a great tourist area, with a myriad of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars and good night-life. Both Ravda and Nesebar can be reached by bus from the road adjacent to the complex car-park. There are good supermarkets, pharmacies and so on in new Nesebar and also some great coffee bars.
If you fancy a further trip, you could go to Sunny Beach, which is only a short bus or taxi journey away, with its numerous discos, clubs, restaurants and cafes. Some of its venues have been featured on the TV holiday programmes – places such as “Kahn’s Tent” – a hilltop restaurant with lively entertainment (eg Dancing on the Bar!) and great food. The Aqua Park is nearby, and there are various water sports, scuba, jet-skis and boats to hire in Sunny Beach. Nearest big town is Bourgas, which has the usual facilities of a major conurbation. You can take bus there from just outside the complex.
Great for beach/sea holiday, sightseeing, nightlife
Weather
In July and August the average temperature is 30 degrees or above. In the early and late seasons it is usually very warm.
How to get here
Best fly to Bourgas (30 km away from Aurelia) and get a taxi to the Complex which is on the main Ravda-Nessebar road. The taxi ride will cost about £10. A taxi can be arranged to meet your arrival if you would like. Normally, be sure to use an official yellow taxi so you can check the meter. Agree the price before you get in the vehicle, and don’t be afraid to haggle! Alternatively, you may choose to hire a car from the airport. We can help with this if you contact us.
