Notes on accommodation
This accommodation has been designed to suit families, but not those with very young children.
The children's bedroom has a private balcony and is on the first floor, all rooms have individual balconies or terraces.
There is a viewing terrace on the first floor.
There is a separate annex for additional privacy for one couple.
The pool is very accessible from the living area.

Accessibility
This property is very high on a hillside, and is on multiple levels, with steps and stairs allowing access to the various rooms and also initial entry into the house.
Outside
Private heated (for 2010) pool 6m x 5m. Outdoor patio with patio furniture. Portable barbecue. Semi outdoor viewing terrace, can be used as a barbecue area.
Coast/Beach
Property is 1km away from the beach, harbour and Marina at Balchik.
It is entirely downhill on the way down into town, which means that it is entirely uphill on the way back, taxis are readily available in town.
There are numerous beaches along this coastline, within easy car access, including Albena, Sunny beach, and Varna city beaches, in the other direction there are many beautiful beaches on the Kaliakra peninsula.
Golf
Balchik is becoming recognised as a centre for golfing with 3 signature courses within 10km of this property.
Travel
Nearest airport is Varna airport, which is 45km away.
Bourgas airport is 100km away.
Car hire is recommended, as it enables exploration of this beautiful coastline.
Once you have arrived at the property use of a car is not essential, but you should be prepared for a 15 min, 1km walk into the town.

Balchik is predominately a harbour town, with a beautiful harbour boardwalk. It also sports a new modern Marina and has modern banks, restaurants, and shops as well as access to an old, historic town. It is home to Bulgaria's national Botanical Gardens and Summer Palace.
There is an art gallery and museum.
Balchick comes alive in the summer, with a lots of local festivities and a summer nightlife scene. The villa property is sufficiently out of town to escape being part of this scene, but close enough to provide access to a range of bars, pubs restaurants and night clubs.
Booking notes
Booking deposit of 30% secures dates, with remainder of payment to be paid 8 weeks prior to stay. A security deposit of Euro 200 or £150 is also requested.
