Travel Info: Bansko is located in south west Bulgaria in a valley surrounded by 3 mountain range Pirin national park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The transfer time from Sofia is approx 2.5 hours.

Bansko is a modern ski resort with lifts and a gondola all constructed within the last 10 years. There are over 70 kilometres of marked pistes and a purpose built snow boarding fun park. Bansko has all the amenities that would be expected of a modern ski resort including bowling centres, a Casino, an ice rink and plenty of bars and restaurants. There is also a championship 18 hole golf course designed by Ian Woosnam within a 5 minute drive of the complex. A lot of facilities including bars restaurants and shops have all developed around the golf course and country club.

Comfortable family chalet

Redenka is one of the most popular complexes in and around Bansko. It's popularity stems from the fact that it provides a year round holiday base. The winter provides skiing, the spring provides hiking and rafting as the snow melts and produces fast flowing rivers. The summer provides activities for everyone the temperature can reach, the mid 30s in centigrade. Late winter and early spring is a time when you can choose to ski or play golf on the nearby Ian Woosnam designed championship course.

Probably what we enjoy most of all is sampling the friendly atmospheres and excellent food of the local Mexanas. Razlog provides some excellent restaurants at very reasonable prices.
