Vacation Rental Description
Apartment F14 enjoys a fourth floor two view perspective in the 4* Mountain Dream hotel and apartment complex which is set just above the town comanding views of both the valley and the mountain. Under the wing of an experienced high quality manager, Mountain Dream is set to become one of the very best venues in Bansko. Already it boasts a huge 18m diameter, round, indoor swimming pool which opens on to the central courtyard garden. There are luxury spa and gym facilities with treatments, restaurants, bar and a conference venue. A games room is also promised. Security and privacy for our guests is enhanced by an electronic key operated door to the block F entrance.
F14, reached via lift, is our second home. We have grandchildren and have tried to ensure that there are facilities for children of all ages such as a cot, two tip-resistant, easy to erect camp bed, a high chair, books and games to name but a few. But we have not forgotten the friends who like their own beds. We have two single beds in each bedroom which can be pushed together. One bedroom has room for the cot or camp bed or even both at a squeeze. Alternatively, there is room in the hall for the cot and/or the camp bed. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge. There is plenty of storage and cases will easily slide under the beds. There is one shower room but thankfully we have two toilets.
The last thing one wants to do is to waste time in the kitchen so it has been fitted with a dishwasher as well as a 4 ring fan oven, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. If you do not want to cook and yet feel like staying in to watch one of the videos from the apartment's selection we think it will be possible to order take-away meals from the restaurant or alternatively call in the pizza delivery man. We also have been told that it will be possible to buy some apartment necessities in the complex. The housekeeping department should be able to give the apartment a mid-stay clean and linen change for extra cost if requested and under block D there is a token operated laundry room.
Mountain Dream is situated one kilometer above the bottom gondola station which gives a greater choice for skiers. A minibus shuttle service is available or one can take the 200m almost level walk across the mountain to the 'Ski Road' and skior slide down to the lift reversing the walk in the evening. Skis can be stored in a room under block E. The minibus can also be booked for transport into and out of the town centre.
The old town is so quaint with many narrow streets and is worthy of exploration. Throughout the town there are many Mehanas (local eating taverns) each with their own attractive, individual style and ambiance.
Above Mountain Dream towers the Pirin Mountain range - a UNESCO heritage site - criss crossed with marked trails and sparkling with lakes. One of the trails passes within 50m of Mountain Dream.
But the best thing about living in F14 Mountain Dream is the views from both the front and back. This is mountain living in comfort. Come and enjoy it with us.

The Dancing Bear Rescue Centre is about 25Km away and worth a trip in summer. Bansko is known for its eating places - over 100 mehanas (taverns) of varying types. Rafting and other adventure sports are available as day trips. Hiking in the Pirin National Park is on the doorstep as are winter sports. Horse riding is available in a nearby village as is fishing, I believe.
