Cozy, child-friendly holiday home in a quiet neighbourhood

Comfortable house in a private neighborhood with a heated pool (July/August), playground and tennis courts, right behind the Westholk Nature Reserve (350 ha of dunes). An enclosed garden with 2m hedges surrounds the house. The house has all possible comforts and is cozily furnished, especially during the winter months when you're sure to enjoy the fireplace with its glass door. A car is recommended.

The house has 3 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 twin beds and and a bunk bed) for 6 persons, a child bed is additional.

There is 1 bathroom, the kitchen has fridge, dishwasher, 4 electric hot plates, microwave, dishes and glasses for up to 12 persons. A washer is in an annex.

The living room has a fire place with glass door, satellite TV and stereo radio. It is open to the roof and gives a comfortable, agreeable and spacious feeling.

The little garden has southern exposition and is surrounded by a fence and a 2m high always green hedge.

Several restaurants and groceries are in walking distance up to 1km.

Place und region
De Panne lies at the westbelgian coast next to the French border. It is a well-known, maintained bathing resort with a broad, sandy beach. On the long and broad promenade there are many child attractions and speciality restaurants as well as purchase possibilities of all kinds.

De Panne offers all kinds of sports - characteristically is the sail car haven -, e.g. tennis, riding, mini gulf etc.. Indoor and open-air swimming pools are nearby. The dunes around De Panne make migrations possible for hours. The largest nature reservation "Westhoek" begins on the opposite side of the housing estate, in which our Holiday home is located. Through the nature park (360 hectars) there are several footpaths up to 700 m the broad and sandy beach (approx. 25 minutes).

With the car it is few minutes to the beach. Many historical places and cities can be reached comfortably by wheel or car: Bruegge: 50 km, Gent: 80 km, Brussels: 154 km, Oostende: 27 km (Connection Dover London), Veurne: 10 km, Duenkirchen (France): l5 km, canal tunnel: 45 km, Paris: 280 km.

    • The house is located just behind the dunes, around 1.5km from the beach, it's in a private park with playground, pool (July/August) and tennis courts. It's quiet and very well equipped. A fenced garden ives you a lot of privacy.

    • There is Plopsaland , a theme park close by, which is nice for children of every age.
    De panne has a huge beach and a huge promenade with lots of activities: Playground and pedal car rentals for children, lots of café's for adults.
