Situated right in the heart of Bruges, this attractive holiday penthouse-apartment, measuring 110 m² (1183 sq ft) + roof garden, comes with a charming and chic decor as is shown on the photos.
The apartment is split over two levels.
First floor: A French door opens from the salon/kitchen into a private roof garden with barbecue, where you may dine and relax in the summer the whole day long. There is a fully fitted kitchenette with a full array of cookware. You can shop at the local market and prepare your own gourmet meals. Adjoining the salon is a dining table for 5 persons. The cosy lounge has an extremely comfortable double sofa bed (Ligne Roset) and a view out on to the street. With its selection of books and CD’s it is the ideal place to relax after a busy day sightseeing.
Second floor: Here you find the luxuriously furnished master bedroom in favour of a king-size bed with its own colour TV, a bathroom with washing machine, shower, vanity unit and WC. Next door there is a second small single bedroom.
The apartment which sleeps up to five adults, has been completely restored and has been tastefully finished throughout. There is a large lounge /dining room. Of special note are the double French doors giving onto the terraces, blessing the interior with light and air. The south-facing private roof garden enjoys a charming view over the rooftops, onto the four towers, The Belfry, Our Lady's Church, the Cathedral and St-Jacob's Church. Imagine for a moment that you awaken on a beautiful morning, taking your morning coffee and warm, buttery croissant or Belgian waffle on your very own secluded garden terrace. Step outside and stroll along the canals, virtually at your doorstep.
Stop for a moment to admire the stunning Baroque, Renaissance, Gothic and Romanesque architecture of the Burg Square. Look forward to an al fresco meal by candlelight on your garden terrace, anticipating the fun of shopping for your menu at the colourful local market. When you don't feel like cooking, just step outside the door and some of Bruges's finest eateries - from quaint corner cafes to homey bistros, to Michelin-star-ranked restaurants. Although having been fully upgraded to include modern facilities and gas central heating, the apartment still retains some stained glass windows, the original oak beamed ceilings and other traditional features. Persian and Arabic carpets everywhere give this flat a highly comfortable atmosphere. The master bedroom has parquet oak flooring and for complete quietness, all windows are sound-proof.

Parking is available in a nearby car park house at 200 meters further down the apartment and costs 8.70 euro for 24 hours. Free parking is at fifteen minutes walking distance.

Cable TV in both, living room and master bedroom, with a wide range of stations including CNN, BBC1 and BBC2. Hair dryer, iron and ironing table at your disposal. Beds are made up before arrival. As there is much to do, to see, and to visit nearby and in the surrounding area, it makes the apartment the “ideal home in the City” in which to stay and from which Bruges can be toured and enjoyed, to do what you want, when you want and how you want. It is also a well suited place in which to relax for coffee, wine or a Belgian beer during a busy or lazy day or before setting out to take in the varied evening on offer in Bruges.
