Chalet Edelweiss is set in the stunning Murtal Valley and is located in the beautiful peaceful village of Stadl An Der Mur close to the ski resorts of Kreischberg and Turracher Hohe. Skiing & snowboarding for all levels of ability, ski schools and lots of fun for children. Perfect for both your skiing and summer holiday.
The ski area is a short 10/15 minute drive away on snow free roads. You can park within a few yards of the Gondola, no more trudging around in uncomfortable ski boots! You can also take the local train from the village direct to the ski area.
Our Chalet is new and offers excellent luxury accommodation and facilities with a large balcony accessible from two bedrooms, extended south and east facing terraces, Panorama Glazing and garden area. There is a private Hot tub for 4/5 adults.
The Chalet is 100 sq M and has 2 double bedrooms, (one with an additional single bed), and 1 twin bedroom with additional bunk beds, sleeping a total of 9 people, 2 bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs, large private sauna, open plan living/dining and kitchen area. It is heated by a central gas fired feature log effect fire, which keeps the chalet incredibly warm, with under-floor heating in both bathrooms. The chalet is stylishly furnished and decorated to a high standard and very well equipped with every single item brand new in November 2007.
Chalet Edelweiss is equipped with all the facilities that you are likely to need throughout your holiday.
There is a 32 inch LCD TV – (Austrian Channels only apart from News Channel)s and DVD player in the large living room – small library of DVD's and a IPOD docking station.
The shared indoor swimming pool with constant current facility and separate 8 person Jacuzzi is open durign the summer months.
We supply Sledges, there are plenty of sledging slopes surrounding the chalet as well as the organised toboggan runs
For cosy evenings in there are a selection of Games and books
There is a large Private relaxing sauna, perfect after a day on the slopes! Bath Robes are provided for your comfort and a selection of essential oils and mood lighting.
The private Hot Tub/Jacuzzi is for 4/5 adults – wind down under the stars.

The local hotel provides a Food delivery service – place your order up to 7pm for dinner or breakfast.
All Bed Linen and Towels are provided. Bath robes are supplied for your comfort. We also supply luxury complimentary toiletries. There is a small shared indoor swimming pool which is open in the summer months but there are also 2 excellent indoor swimming pools in the nearby towns of Murau and Tamsweg. There is also excellent outdoor pool at Kreischberg open in the summer months.

The house is set in typically Austrian tranquil surroundings and the stunning views through Panoramic Glazing or from the huge sun terrace over the open fields & mountains will guarantee privacy and leave you feeling relaxed during your stay. In the winter stunning snow-scapes and in the summer, miles of open mountain wild flower and butterfly filled walks! The beautiful cities of Salzburg, Graz and Vienna are within easy reach, for the more adventurous the Italian and Slovenian borders are a 60 minute drive away with a trip to Venice being a 3 hour 30 minute drive.
