Chalet Edelweiss is set in the stunning Murtal Valley and is located in the beautiful peaceful village of Stadl An Der Mur close to the ski resorts of Kreischberg and Turracher Hohe. Skiing & snowboarding for all levels of ability, ski schools and lots of fun for children. Just 1 and a half hours from Salzburg Airport,just under 2 hours from Graz & 1 hour from Klagenfurt Airport. With fantastic open views of the mountains, perfect for your skiing and summer holiday.

The ski area is a short 10/15 minute drive away on snow free roads. You can park within a few yards of the Gondola, no more trudging around in uncomfortable ski boots! You can also take the local train from the village direct to the ski area.

The Chalet is 100 sq M and has 2 double bedrooms, (one with an additional single bed), and 1 twin bedroom with additional bunk beds, sleeping a total of 9 people, 2 bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs, large private saunan doe 6 adults, open plan living/dining and kitchen area It is heated by a central gas fired feature log effect fire, which keeps the chalet incredibly warm, with under-floor heating in both bathrooms and additional heaters in the Bedrooms. There is a private Hot Tub for 4/5 adults. The chalet is full of luxury touches, complimentary toiletries and slippers, fluffy towels and bathrobes are all provided. Hotel luxury but no other guests to worry about! 10 boot (5 pairs) boot dryer – no more putting on damp boots! Shared indoor swimming pool with constant current facility and separate 8 person Jacuzzi. Extensive Sun Terrace extending all of the way around the east and south of the Chalet with superb views across the open valley and mountains to the south and The Village of Stadl an der Mur to the east.Barbecue & Patio furniture for summer out door dining. Large Panoramic Balcony with entrance from Bedrooms one and two and table and chairs – enjoy your breakfast overlooking the mountains!

The chalet is stylishly furnished and decorated to a high standard and very well equipped with every single item brand new in November 2007. There are steep steps leading down to the Chalet.

You could not ask for a more perfect, sought after location. The Chalet is set in typically Austrian tranquil surroundings and the stunning views through Panoramic Glazing or from the huge sun terrace over the open fields & mountains will guarantee privacy and leave you feeling relaxed during your stay. In the winter stunning snow-scapes and in the summer, miles of open mountain wild flower and butterfly filled walks! Beautiful cities of Salzburg, Graz and Vienna are within easy reach, for the more adventurous the Italian and Slovenian borders are a 60 minute drive away with a trip to Venice being a 3 hour 30 minute drive.

Stadl is positioned between the two skiing areas of Kreischberg (10/15minutes) and Turracher (30 minutes) which combined offer nearly 70km of skiing; it is also only 45km from the Obertauern ski region which has 120km of pistes and at 1700m is also snow sure.

Stadl is within the Murtal region of Austria which is a popular holiday destination among young and old winter & summer sport enthusiasts. Picturesque, family-friendly ski villages, gorgeous mountain scenery, charming and genuine local traditions and, excellent Styrian food. In addition the area offers a range of winter and summer activities including, ski, snowboarding, cross country ski, tobogganing, horse drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, curling swimming, tennis, bowling, horse riding, walking, cycling, white water rafting, golf, mountain biking and fishing. A little further afield you will find hot air ballooning, snowskites, ice climbing and many other activities.

Higher prices are charged for the Christmas and new year period. The prices are per week and are fully inclusive.For your convenience we offer a variety of payment methods. A security deposit of £200/€234 is due along with the final balance 6 weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit is fully refundable pending an inspection from our management company. Please contact us for a quote for stays of 7 nights or less, please note that a cleaning surcharge of £80 will be made for all stays of 4 nights or less. Cleaning, use of the Hot Tub and Sauna are included in prices quoted. For stays of more than 1 week a mid holiday clean will be provided including change of bed linen and towels.
