Vacation Rental Description
Chalet Peter has great atmosphere, excellent facilities and terrific views! What more could you want from a holiday (summer or winter) with family or friends?  
 
You can see the Schmittenhohe (the top station of the Zell am See ski resort) from the house. The glacier with its year round skiing at Kaprun is 15 minutes away and the gateway to the Glossclockner trail at Bruck is just down the road. 
 
Chalet Peter has 5 bedrooms and sleeps up to 11 guests. There is a large family bathroom, an ensuite bedroom and a further shower in the sauna room. The house is on 3 floors, basement, ground floor and first floor, there are toilets on each floor.  
 
In the basement there is a brand new sauna with shower, music system and comfortable chairs. The laundry room has a washing machine, drier and ironing facilities. There is also a table tennis room in the basement. 
 
The house has underfloor heating throughout and this is very useful for drying out ski boots which are stored in the basement, where we also store 2 high chairs and a baby cot. 
 
The lounge has a large settee, comfortable chairs and further seating around the tradional Austrian stove. There is cable TV, internet access and a music centre with ipod connection. At the dining end of the lounge we have installed a traditional Austrian table and chairs made by a local craftsman, its solid oak and seats 11 guests in comfort. 
 
The kitchen was built to a very high standard, its modern, clean and enjoys panoramic views. 
 
The summer is a great time to visit Zell am See and Chalet Peter. The house is in its own grounds and the large garden is accesssed from patio doors in the lounge. There is large garden table and chairs with umbrella. Last summer we installed a traditional Austrian garden stove for BBQ's. The garden even has its own spring! 
 
There is parking in front of the house and there is also a garage with remote controlled doors.

    • Nearest Train Station : Bruck at 1 kilometers distance
    • Nearest Town : Zell am See at 3 kilometers distance
    • Travel Info: Chalet Peter is just over an hour from Salzburg airport and 1 hour and 40 minutes from Insbruck. We recommend that guests hire a car from the airport which you can do at a reasonable price, especially if you reserve well ahead. There is a ski bus at the bottom of the hill below the house but a car is advisable in order to take advantage of the many places of interest and ski resorts in the area.

    In order to confirm a booking we require a deposit of £250 or 250 EUROS. The balance to be paid 2 calender months before arrival. There is a 150 EURO final cleaning charge and a 1 euro per person per day tourist tax for all guests over 15 years of age. These charges are deducted from the 300 EURO deposit which is paid on arrival
